Ok, me and Smithy are outvoted. My take was the very dull hotspot, not the bright white that we always see, and it was relatively large too

Stoinois hitting out for Melb Stars, could see them miss out and the Brisbane heat (Mccullum etc) make it.  I think Stars need to score 170 here, they are only 50 off 9 0vers.

I didnt think it really got intense until the ball passed the bat and was circular. I also dont think Mitchell would have hung around making a dik out of himself if he genuinely didnt hit it. And the front on you can see the ball come off the bat. The concensus is in the cricket media and community it was a not out and a howler. But not much the on field could do once the 3rd ump sent it back out. The bat was so close to pad that the ball wouldnt show snicko in the room it had to travel to hit the bat, in other words its spike would have been amongst the pads snicko spike as its usually about a ball frame before you see the spike, just before it fully passes the bat.

This BBL game is getting good, great lead up to the international.

Looks like Munro is on the outer now, finally. Playing just one game against Bangladesh. Pity, he has a lot to offer, but it doesn't happen.

Sydney have messed up here which mean Brisbane is out, which is harsh as the Stars played Bris last week and Bris got the Stars 155 in 10 overs, so a bit weird Stars beating Syd who were red hot favs and now are getting smashed due to Maxwell getting 60 in the last 16 balls.

On to NZ, Im not to worried who they choose for rest of home season, I think they have made up their minds for the ODIs but giving some young guys a turn in the T20s, mitchell etc.

Would be good to win a series vs India, but its been nice to destroy them in 1 odi and 1 t20.

So, reading an article, that included Munro, they see Munro much much less now than a few weeks ago. Then they rave about Seifert, but he's not playing in the Bangers three ODI series. They give one guy too many goes, and the other not enough. If Seifert played at least 2 of the games, you could go a long way to locking him into the WC. At the very least he will out perform Munro

Ugh, being strangles so we take risks and get super lucky a few times. Other days its frequent wickets.

WTF, when frame lights up the foot is behind the line by at least 1cm before the shoe curves up. Has the 3rd ump got some extra money last couple of games.

Seifert would the right choice for the WC simply because we dont have a real wicket keeper let alone a back up, plus hes a darn good lower order batsman.

i thought we were short by 20 of what we could have got. But nice to see consistent 10 runs every over, some over some just under.

I think 40 too much for India.

Front foot side, it looked not behind. Back foot side looked a teeny bit behind, no way was 1cm. Its not clearly a wicket or clearly not, so my call was inconclusive, not out.

Munro ddi well, did get lucky, and did go back to his usual when frustrated. But generally he didn't get big eyes and see a six every ball, thats the difference. Probably read the article and focussed on staying in, then get runs.

TAB says we win, commentators see it much closer. Win or lose a solid innings. I like Mitchell

Nah I reckon we had it won by the time seifert and munro were broken up.

What an awesome catch by Darryl Mitchell. Early wickets chasing 11, will just climb every dot ball or even every single.

I have to say I was assuming we would have more than 2 wickets by now. 120 from 10 overs with 8 wickets is very doable for India.

Yes, wrong, a one ball game. Thats is how you run chase, especially from a WASP of 15%.We could never do that, not on any day. Had Kohli been there.....

But a series win.Roll on 30 May
