I found a reddit post that says if you sub to F1tv then your year starts from that exact day. Wonder if its worth subscribing for a year now, or before 31 Dec, in case they change the rules 1 Jan?

Yea I'm giving this some thought. It would give me some flexibility if I decide to dump Sky next year.

I'll probably will do the same.

Also, does anyone know do we get the 'international feed' for our F1tv pro?  i.e.  Martin Brundle, Johhny Herbert, etc?

Cheers,

Mike

You can. Defaults to f1tv feed and you have to change it each time. It won’t save that. And when I ticketed the app should be able to set that as default, their CSR understanding was a little lacking

Yeah I don’t think so. I stopped using f1tv because (on Apple TV) I found it overly aggressive switching video streams. Like a coupe of times a minute in Some cases. To the point where it would cycle 480p upwards

No sky exclusive video or audio, but the F1 TV commentators are actually really good too if not better.

Basically can't see sky offering access to the online option also, as they're very unlikely to support anything that takes you away from their core product.

Single hope here is they don't block the online access.  Can't imagine Sky have much money these days so they're unlikely to start paying extra to lock out all other access from the region.  For Rugby yes, but for a niche sport like F1 it's unlikely they'd pay extra.
