I am rooting for the USA, they have also played above their normal level. Yes I thought Canada played really well, I thought they deserved the win.

Noooooooo. Fo the All Blacks to get to the final the easiest way, as they are ranked no.1, we want no upsets. Then the draw will go as planned and we end up playing the no.2 ranked team in the final. Any upsets and we may end up playing stronger teams earlier.

Yes I think they were very lucky, and is probably the reason the governmnet has stepped in. Crowds can be very dangerous.

I agree with a little qualification.  At the moment the Mighty ABs path to the Webb Ellis Trophy (if things go according to seeding) sees them meeting South Africa in the Semis and Oz in the final.  If the Welsh had managed to beat the 'Boks, thereby setting up the possibility of SA finishing second in their pool, then that would have set the scene for a Oz vs SA semi-final.  I guess in the end if you are good enough to be world champion you should be able to beat anyone.

I celebrated Argentina beating France in RWC 2007.  But that pushed France into a different part of the draw and that ended well for us didn't it.........

Is there a place to buy legit tickets from people who can't make their matches? I was surprised trademe had none considering plenty of people have scalped tickets (Not to the RWC) before?

Well they played better, still room for improvement, interesting SBW on the wing, another season and he would be one of our best players!

I have a scenario for you guys/girls to consider.

Is the Haka a good idea? I have noticed a pattern pointed out by someone unexpected a few weeks ago...

AB's give away the majority of their points and make the most mistakes in the first 20 minutes of the game. The Haka is a very energy/emotion intensive game event, which potentially causes a wave of inertia/fatigue directly afterwards. The pattern is for the AB's to usually play better the longer they are on the field..

Perhaps we should do as the 7's do and bring it out for the Wins at the end.

i thought it was a form of warming up and circulating blood to the muscles! whether it makes the brain focus better or worse i don't know. also they probably drink energy drinks (do they? i remember george gregan saying they drank coffee to give them an extra .5% to their game) to help the brain jump start i guess
