I guess this should probably be under the "Offers and Wanted" section but as this is my first post I am not able to start a new post there under the FUG. Moderator, please feel free to move this post if appropriate.

I have prepaid Manabus return tickets for 2 passengers from Auckland to Paihia this weekend which I won't be using due to change of plans and Manabus do not allow date change or refund. They are freely transferable as no name is specified on the printed ticket (pdf).  The regular bus fare is $26 - $27 per person each way and I hate to see these tickets go to waste.

Details are:

Depart from Auckland 7.30 am Friday 22 July 2017, arrive Paihia - Bay of Islands, 11.30 am

Depart from Paihia 12.15 pm Monday 25 July 2017, arrive Auckland 4.30 pm.

I have travelled on Manabus before. They are comfy and have free wifi on board as well.

These could be useful to anyone wanting to go to the Bay of Islands this weekend.  If one of the dates is not suitable, just use the prepaid ticket for one way and buy your own fare for other way from Manabus at regular fare which effectively makes it 50% discount for your overall bus fares.

I do not want any payment in return but if the taker wish to make a $5 donation to their favorite charity to feel better that's fine but it's not obligatory to do so. I just would like to see someone (Geekzoners or their friends) making good use of these tickets since I can't.

Anyone one interested please let me know and I will forward the tickets in pdf format to the first one to ask.

Cheers

Mahjong

<Bump>.  Though I should give this post a bump as it was moved (by moderator ?) and somehow the Travel section last post was time-stamped 17 July 13.11, so it does not show up as a recent post for readers checking only posts after yesterday afternoon.

Ticket is still available.  I will update if it's given away.

Cheers

Mahjong
