I'm having a brain fade here.

Is it OK to take non-alcoholic drinks onto a domestic NZ flight?

My feeling is you can, but now I'm doubting myself.

The Rules on Liquids,Aerosols and Gels only apply internationally,

You can take liquids onto domestic Jet (screened) (and other (non-screened) services) in NZ...

There are no restrictions around LAGs on domestic flights.

Just don't drink booze on them. That will get you in trouble!

I just want to take some ginger beer with me, it helps with motion sickness.

And here's me seeing the thread title and thinking it's about BA airline pilots.

You wouldn't be able to get them past security would you unless it is below 100mls?

or is that only international?

edit

I see it only applies if it is international or if the flight departs from an international terminal.

If your Jetstar flight number is from JQ1 to JQ224 or JQ300 to JQ349, your flight will depart from an international terminal.

Many national flights on the Q300 like AKL to NSN they don't even check aka zero securty checks, Take a bottle of Gin and Bourbon if you want but if you start drinking it that is when it's a no no

True. Although if you can by ginger ale then I suspect they are not going to stop you, alternatively just swig when they are not watching!
