I've stayed there several times for work and its a pretty good hotel. Either size has amazing views, and the pool is stunning.

If you don't get breakfast included the connected mall has cheaper food outlets and the coffee/pastry shop on the ground floor is OK. The mall is a little disappointing and a bit upmarket, so head over to Orchard Road for a better range of shopping.

Make sure you visit the Gardens By the Bay, especially at night.

You can easily walk from there to the Quays that link along the river, but it is worth getting into the backstreets for better food and cheaper prices. There is a hawker market just over the bridge at Raffles Ave where the Grand Prix is usually based.

MRT and buses are easy and cheap to use, and Grab is available rather than Uber for transport. I've has some awesome cars over in Singapore that you'd never see in NZ.

From the Airport I'd get a Taxi / Grab straight to the hotel as it saves a lot of messing around, and would be approx S$20.

If you are into craft beer grab Untapped as there are some great local places.
