So he's not out after all. If the two trials find him guilty what then?

No... Impeachment is a permanent stain on his history.

It gets sent from the House to the Senate and then the Senate is Republican managed so nothing will happen in that respect as they are spineless.

Pelosi does not rule out not sending impeachment articles to Senate

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi spoke to the reporters after the vote and did not rule out not sending the articles to the Senate right away.
“We’ll make a decision as a group as we always have as we go along,” she said, when asked.
Some House Democrats had called on her to delay sending the articles since the Senate Republicans weren’t going to hold a full trial. Pelosi didn’t shut the door on the idea, saying that ”so far, we haven’t seen anything that looks fair to us.”
Asked if she could guarantee the articles will be sent to the Senate “at some point,” Pelosi said that was the Democrats’ intention, “but we will see what happens over there.”

I like that idea - stick it to them, even to the extent of never sending it through at all if they won't offer a fair trial.

Also, what if they hold off until after the 2020 election? And what if after the election the Democrats hold both the House and Senate? Can they still send the Articles of Impeachment up then?

Although, by waiting that long, they may not need to. It's not inconceivable that in his ongoing rage Trump will do something that finally even the Republicans can no longer defend.

Unfortunately impeachment is just another badge for Trump!

Nothing will change.

I'm only surprised he hasn't made a change yet to enable himself to be a dictator for life!

Thankfully, this orange idiot is basically illiterate. Assuming (and I believe - correctly) that Donny IS the current antichrist*, then how fortunate for the world that his chosen manifestation is such a brainless klutz, incapable of stringing more than two words together into a coherent sentence, instead of someone with an excellent command of the English language, like Churchill, Kennedy, Lincoln, Mandela and Obama.

It's kinda like God leveling the playing field, by allowing Satan to nominate his player for the current attack on our civilization, but limiting that player's intelligence level.

Interesting: Americans are now in the box seats of this inquisition, and crucial participants in the survival of the world together with it's current limbo-low level of morality

*Antichrist: Anyone whose principles don't match those of (the possibly mythical, but nonetheless admirable) Jesus Christ.

Christianity Today, which is the Worlds largest evangelical Christian publication, came out today in support of Trump's removal from office.

This is a pretty big deal. Is the tide of support for Trump slowly starting to turn? I have no doubt the GOP will throw him under the bus as soon as he becomes a political liability to them.

It’s not spineless when the voters that put those senators in power cannot understand the esoteric nebulous argument Dems have decided to use to impeach him over.

Meanwhile those same voters can easily understand the soft corruption of a Vice President whose son was earning tens of 0000s/month from a Ukrainian oil company

So @nathan a simple and non esoteric nebulous question:

- Did Trump use the power of his presidency to pressure a foreign country to publicly announce the initiation of an investigation into his domestic political rival?

YES) If you think Trump did do it and it is nothing to worry about then I assume you are fine for any president or politician to do it in any democracy in the future to behave the same way irrespective of political party?

NO) If you don't think Trump attempted to influence an foreign country to investigate a political rival when Trump appointees (Sondland) have testified to say that Trump did happen? And if that didn't happen then why didn't any of the central figures in this case (Rudy) come and testify under oath that it didn't happen?

I'm not sure why you want to divert the attention away from the entire premise of the impeachment, but if you could answer either way without calling "Squirrel" diverting to something else. I think the reason why you can't answer the question as it is indefensible. Since if you had a good defense you would have come up with it.
