kingdragonfly: I wouldn't expect any less from Trump.

He called Kim Jong-un a "very talented man who loves his country very much" and has professed to admire and trust (“We fell in love”)

The only reason why the critics moan about Donald meeting Chairman Kim, is they are bloodthirsty war hawks who would rather have millions of more Koreans and Americans killed in the Korean War

The national security state needs to get over itself and accept there is another nuclear armed country at the exclusive table. The Americans have already provided the existential proof, that Dictators without nuclear arms don’t last as dictators very long.

populism, the most important and misunderstood movement of our time

I didn't moan about Donald meeting with Chairman Kim.

I'm all for peace.

I moaned that Donald truly loves dictators and strong arm tactics.

There's a difference between "politics makes strange bedfellows" and being a traitor.

Donald posted a tweet with a NY Times photo... Got stung with a copyright violation claim:

We moaned as we knew he will dine out on this for the rest of his live. The only sitting American president to meet a North Korean leader.

Not for peace & not for detante (Kim blew up the border joint liaison office just a couple of weeks ago), not for trade, not for prisoner release, not for human rights issue, not for nuclear issues. NOT for anything did Trump carry out that little escapade other than for Trumps own aggrandisement❗️

And that was the ONLY reason Trump did it❗️

When you're delusional, you can make anything be the way you want it to be.

Pity he hasn't said that about racism, or poverty, or violence.

Trump Attacks Our Nation's Free Press, Part 1

Full Frontal with Samantha Bee

If only the president were as passionate about (and we’re just spitballing here) coronavirus, police brutality, or Black lives, as he is about attacking the free press. I guess we’ll have to keep dreaming...until November 3rd.

Yes, he is a narcissistic idiot.

But maybe he actually wants to lose the election.  😕

It's not surprising then that the generic term for whoever Trump's press secretary is this week is "Bulls**t Barbie".

Some of the best responses to Bulls**t Barbie's statements about the president:

Nothing hammers home the WH talking point that Joe Biden is old and confused quite like insisting that their guy knows how to read. https://t.co/TYwXdWOCvy

The only way Trump would consume intelligence is if his staff told him it was Häagen-Dazs. https://t.co/Ju3aM7RMn6

Can you imagine calling a press conference in one hour with the main talking point being - "The President Does Read."

Hearing he can also drink from a glass, but unconfirmed at this point. @Acynhttps://t.co/6CC8ySnIM5

Korean peace negotiations have always been unusual. The cause of the recent developments isn't particularly clear.
