TVLine: Fox News Tucker Carlson's top writer out after racist and sexist posts revealed

...“Black doods staying inside playing Call of Duty is probably one of the biggest factors keeping crime down.”

... “given how tired black people always claim to be, maybe the real crisis is their lack of sleep.”

...Carlson himself has come under fire in recent years for racist and sexist comments made on air and off, including a 2018 broadcast where he implied that accepting immigrants make America “poorer and dirtier.”

Fred99:

Define limits / checks on POTUS executive power.

This is going to be an interesting one, the reason why the presidents powers, and also a lot of in-case-of-emergency legislation, is somewhat vague about what the limits to the powers are is that they were passed on the assumption that they'd be used with discretion and placing predefined limits on powers granted for unforeseeable circumstances is kind of an oxymoron. It wasn't until Trump that this became necessary because he sees it as something to routinely be taken advantage of, not something to use purely for emergencies. As Trevor Noah once pointed out "Trump is like the UV light you shine in a hotel room, he shows up all the stuff that you weren't aware of and didn't need to be aware of until now".

BBC News - Coronavirus: Donald Trump finally wears mask in public

breaking!

US President Donald Trump has worn a mask in public for the first time since the start of the coronavirus pandemic.

The president was visiting the Walter Reed military hospital outside Washington, where he met wounded soldiers and health care workers.

"I've never been against masks but I do believe they have a time and a place," he said as he left the White House.

He has previously said that he would not wear a mask and mocked Democratic rival Joe Biden for doing so. ...

He looks so much better with a mask on.

Note the blue tie!

and now ... the big-screen version --

Also:

Speaking to Fox Business Network last week, Mr Trump said: "I'm all for masks."

I think you've linked to The Onion by mistake. Or it's a fake story planted by Russia.

He can't even follow instructions on how to wear a mask and cover both mouth and nose:

(Found this around but sure, it could be a doctored image, let's wait for Snopes)...

Actually when I first saw the earlier images, they gave me the feeling of just looking photoshopped. Maybe this one is the real one!

Yeah, the first images certainly look photoshopped, it looks like someone cut&pasted a black mask over his face.

The coverage is also kind of pathetic, I mean when you've got a Time headline of:

President Trump Wears Face Mask in Public

it's at the level of "little Donny did his first poo-poo on a real toilet today, he doesn't have to use the potty any more. He's a big boy now". Just look at the contrast with two recent news headlines:

(Leader of Germany) warns that the EU must prepare for No Deal Brexit after Boris's vow that Britain will walk away at end of year.

(Leader of France) says new tactics 'shifted the dynamic' in Sahel fight.

(Leader of USA) wears a face mask.

As an aside, Mauricio could the too-many quotes filter be modded to block excessively nested quotes, which is typically unnecessary, but be more permissive with one-off quotes? The above uses underlining because I couldn't use quotes, even though they're quotes of news headlines.
