Dingbatt:

Makes you realise that Mike Pence is only a heartbeat away from being President. And possibly the same for Kamala Harris after January (not sure what happens if the President-elect is ‘incapacitated’ prior to being sworn in).

The moment she was announced, in my wildest dreams I'd love to have Kamala be Potus. She's the most capable of anyone I've seen so far.

But not capable of even being a top tier candidate during the recent Dem primaries, leaving on 3%

I’ve often wondered if Trump was incapacitated or they inact the 25th Ammendmant, how much worse a Christian Theocracy, under Pence would be

It would be a theocracy, buy nothing "Christian" about it. Pence deliberately enacted policy to allow people with HIV to die. Jesus would have saved them.

Reminding me of this wonderful essay, specifically the section "Christ’s Attitude to Minorities".

As a man fairly well known to readers of this fine forum has said a couple of times recently: 'F*** off Trump. And when you get there, regroup and f*** off a bit further.'

In other news Trump says (again) he's going to keep on going after two terms.https://twitter.com/atrupar/status/1295475269504032769?s=20https://twitter.com/atrupar/status/129547526950403276

I do credit him with one amazing achievement.

He's managed to turn his country into the biggest and best s**t hole banana republic in the world.

Insight from a WSJ voter poll:

58% of those who back Mr. Biden say their vote is more in opposition to Mr. Trump than in favor of their chosen candidate. By contrast, those planning to cast a ballot for Mr. Trump are more enthusiastic about their choice, with almost three-quarters saying their vote is more for him than against Mr. Biden.

And the tables have turned from 2016:

“In one respect, Biden’s vote looks like Trump’s did in 2016: more a vote against their opponent than support for them,” Mr. Horwitt said.

Imagine how well the Democrats could do if they had a real candidate...

Or maybe without falling back on the typical racist/sexist excuses, she just wasn’t good enough.

Bearing in mind the last Democratic candidate was a .......

And the last Democratic President was ..........

Also in the report:

"Trump last week announced that Dr Scott Atlas, a frequent guest on Fox News Channel, has joined the White House as a pandemic adviser [...] has no expertise in public health or infectious diseases"

Pretty much a requirement to be a Trump appointee, if you knew what you were doing you wouldn't be taking the job.
