The story easily falls apart

You forgot to mention in your list that the flag was sticking out which is impossible since there's no air on the moon so obviously it was all faked.

In this particular case even Trump's personal propaganda channel Fox News has confirmed it.

Your move.

I have a perfecThat’s demonstrably false
And that’s what a lot of Democrats think happened, in 2016 when they lost
And why they learned no lessons, and decided to run Hilary 2.0 in 2020

@nathan I agree Biden is a terrible choice. But unless I missed it, I don't think you answered the question of how you'll be voting?

I appreciate you find both parties and both candidates objectionable, but will you be voting one way or the other?

Maybe take a min and actually read my post

how gullible can you be...

Trump hater Bolton lied?

The Atlantic journalist Goldberg never published stories promoting wars in Iran, Syria and Iraq?

The US Navy lied in the reply to the Freedom of Information Act request?

The Steele dossier wasn't fake?

Trump Russia collusion was proven?

The sources aren't anonymous?

Its coincidental, a story from years ago, comes out weeks before Election.

Its coincidental, the very first question asked of Biden at an event the day after, is about Trump and the military?

Its coincidental, the story comes out and VoteVets has an advert about it ready to go?

Its coincidental, the story comes out on the same day, Trump announces new Afghan ambassador to finally get US troops out?

Neither.  Never Trump.  Never Biden.

Neither candidate supports the working class populist policies, I, and most Americans care about and deserve, just like you have in NZ.

Voting for someone because they're not Trump, is pathetic IMHO but I understand the stupid game voters are forced to play.

I will either not be voting, or going Green.

Fair enough.

It appears many posters on this forum are of the belief that if you aren't for Biden, you must be for Trump. That clearly isn't the case.

I don't fully understand the the electoral system over there but, from what I do know, isn't voting Howie Hawkins for president basically throwing your vote away?

Personally, while I don't think Biden is a good candidate, I'd vote for him if I could just to get rid of Trump. Biden is not inspiring, and no real change will come under his leadership, but at least he's not a narcissistic clown and he would offer some much needed normality to the presidency.

SARAH HUCKABEE SANDERS LENDS HER IMPECCABLE REPUTATION FOR HONESTY AND CREDIBILITY TO DEFENDING TRUMP

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—Refuting reports that her former boss disparaged fallen soldiers, Sarah Huckabee Sanders has lent her impeccable reputation for honesty and credibility to defending Donald J. Trump.

White House officials breathed a deep sigh of relief after Sanders, widely considered one of the most trustworthy and sincere figures in the nation, called the allegations “malicious lies.”

“If the comments attributed to the President have alarmed any voters, Sarah’s vouching for him should put an end to that,” one aide said. “When it comes to truth-telling, Sarah Huckabee Sanders is the gold standard. Her candid and straight-shooting performances at the White House podium have made her legendary as “one of the most honest people ever to work in this building.”

“People talk about the honesty of George Washington and Abraham Lincoln, but they're no match for Sarah.”

The aide said he expects Sanders’s repudiation of the damning claims will encourage other beacons of truth to come forward to defend Trump. “Sean Spicer, Kayleigh McEnany, Kellyanne Conway, they're all behind the great man. It's great to know that whenever truth is on the line, they're always ready to deal with it.”

'Ask not what you can do for your country: Ask what you can do for me'. Donald J.Trump. US President 2016 - 2020.

The deep state? God, spare me.

what is it, about this phrase, that causes the trigger?

the deep state doesn't exist?

or its a conspiracy theory?

or?

is it better to call it the fourth branch of government instead?

Black and white thinking has been a hallmark of US politics for years, most famously stated as "if you're not with us you're with the terrists" (with that spelling). "Actually I think both sides are a bunch of loonies" doesn't get much of a chance. And FPP pretty much guarantees a two party system (there's game theoretic analyses showing this), where all you can vote for is A or not A.

I'm sorry, that deep state BS I just rate up there with that QAnon crap. Especially since it's come out of Trump's mouth, I simply don't believe in its existence.

I don't believe there's a single organised shadow government controlling everything. But there's plenty of mutual back scratching and cronyism resulting in unelected individuals, corporations, and industries having a great deal of influence over policy. This is nothing new and happens on both sides.

Because it's a term used almost, if not entirely, exclusively by conspiracy-theory nutters. A bit like using the term "untermensch" rather than "slavs/roma", it's strongly signalling where the speaker's political leanings lie.

The false dichotomy is showing. You claim to not support Trump but you say everything possible to discredit the only candidate with a chance of ending the chaos Trump brought to the country.

shoot the messenger.

there is next to zero chance Biden can end the chaos.  You're forgetting he is part of the architecture that created the chaos.  And he has promised to return to that very same status quo, that was his commitment.

I'm not saying everything possible to discredit him, its his own actions, hypocrisy and voting record that does that.

Just be honest and say, "I detest Trump and it doesn't matter who his opponent is, or what their record or history is" like the thread here where they'd vote for a pedophile over Trump.

So I'm a conspiracy theory nutter for pointing out Atlantic editor Goldberg's history of lying to the American public, about wars like Iraq?

Or defeatist in terms of the chaos being inevitable regardless of who wins (he did say he expects to see guillotines in Central Park IIRC).

a revolution/civil war etc is the logical eventual outcome, when the people aren't listened to.  Americans have continually voted for change over multiple election cycles now, but only get corporate shills instead.

Anyway, I'm confused.  Someone's an employee of a massive US-based global corporation and arguing that Americans voted for Trump because globalisation is bad for America, and Trump's by far the biggest "globalist" of any POTUS - with hotel/golf resorts dotted all over the planet.  Biden's a "bad" globalist because his son did some work as a consultant for an oil company or something.

political views have nothing to do with who you chose to exchange your labor for money with.

its not about how Biden/Trump both personally enrich themselves, its about the US policies they say they support.

the difference between what 2016 Clinton/Trump said on globalization policy was stark, and the opinion polls overwhelmingly against Clinton
