Trump's "let's make the government machine more racist" action.

if being paid, by the taxpayer, to watch a woke diversity training video actually worked to fix a problem, then we could all be slim by watching a Lose Weight Now! video or millionaires by doing a Get Rich Quick! course.

Shame and guilt, makes people more biased, not less.

political views have nothing to do with who you chose to exchange your labor for money with.

ROFL.  You can release yourself from "servitude" with a text message since the 1990s.

I bet where you work they don't dump you in an office and let you do anything you like to other staff, customers etc, based on your personal prejudices, whatever they are.

So I'm a conspiracy theory nutter for pointing out Atlantic editor Goldberg's history of lying to the American public, about wars like Iraq?

Yet you're quoting stuff /expressing views almost verbatim from Breitbart - which is full of nutter conspiracy theory.

If you think about, you’re actually doing the exact same thing you hate Trump supporters for. Closed mind, already decided, and no amount of evidence would ever ever change your mind.
Believe a journalist who is known to publish lies, over the actual evidence.

Gee, you go away from the thread for a few hours and it explodes. So much to catch up on.

So I have thought about it, and I see no similarity with Trump supporters whatsoever. I am perfectly prepared to change my mind when actual evidence is presented. I am not prepared to take anything you say as actual evidence.

can you pls share what I said that is the nutter conspiracy tho?  I can't see it where I got anywhere close to QAnon territory.

to me, believing a journalist, with a history of lying for the military-industrial-complex should have the veracity of their claims questioned, especially when the sources are "anonymous", weeks before an election, where one candidate clearly rubberstamps whatever the military wants, and one doesn't.

Just be honest and say, "I detest Trump and it doesn't matter who his opponent is, or what their record or history is" like the thread here where they'd vote for a pedophile over Trump.

I detest Trump and it doesn't matter who his opponent is, or what their record or history is. I would vote for a paedophile over Trump.

whoever knew, that when Eisenhower warned us about the Military Industrial Complex, in 1961, it was all just an elaborate conspiracy theory, designed to help Trump get reelected in 2020

You've been triggered - along with many US conservatives - by a very plausible if "anonymous" and "unprovable" report that is absolutely true to form and no worse than the fully verified attack by Trump on McCain.

It's "within character".  If you and the rest of Breitbart want the story to go away, you'd be better to ignore it rather than fight it by character assassination of a journalist.

Pretty lame to attack a journalist for (in your opinion) lying, when you're on a crusade to excuse the biggest proven liar - who has infinitely more power.

You have your sources, I have mine.

https://twitter.com/joshscampbell/status/1301993408219684865

And then there’s always Bob Woodward with the latest outrage:

https://edition.cnn.com/2020/09/09/politics/bob-woodward-rage-book-trump-coronavirus/index.html

But of course Bob Woodward is just another yellow journalist with no credibility.

Not that any of this matters. I don’t believe anything you say anyway. Nor do I care what Jeffrey Goldberg (nice Jewish name there, but I’m sure that has nothing to do with this) may or may not have written about any wars around the world. He wrote this and nothing he wrote about it has been discredited by any reputable source. On the contrary, most of it has been verified. Not that any of that matters.

Some interesting revelations and insights in the new Woodward book.  Includes multiple interviews with Trump himself, dating back to Dec 2019.

https://edition.cnn.com/2020/09/09/politics/bob-woodward-rage-book-trump-coronavirus/index.html

In a series of interviews with Woodward, Trump revealed that he had a surprising level of detail about the threat of the virus earlier than previously known.

In a January 28 top secret intelligence briefing, national security adviser Robert O'Brien gave Trump a "jarring" warning about the virus, telling the President it would be the "biggest national security threat" of his presidency. Trump's head "popped up," Woodward writes.

"This is deadly stuff," Trump told Woodward on February 7.  .. divulged to Woodward that the night before he'd spoken to Chinese President Xi Jinping about the virus. Woodward quotes Trump as saying, "We've got a little bit of an interesting setback with the virus going in China."  ... "It goes through the air," Trump said. "That's always tougher than the touch. You don't have to touch things. Right? But the air, you just breathe the air and that's how it's passed. And so that's a very tricky one. That's a very delicate one. It's also more deadly than even your strenuous flus."

"I wanted to always play it down," Trump told Woodward on March 19, ... "I still like playing it down, because I don't want to create a panic."

... also acknowledged the threat to young people. "Just today and yesterday, some startling facts came out. It's not just old, older. Young people too, plenty of young people," Trump said.

...  has continued to insist just the opposite, saying as recently as August 5 that children were "almost immune."

... At an April 3 coronavirus task force briefing, Trump was still downplaying the virus .. "I said it's going away and it is going away," he said. Yet two days later on April 5, Trump again told Woodward, "It's a horrible thing. It's unbelievable," and on April 13, he said, "It's so easily transmissible, you wouldn't even believe it."

Asked by Woodward in May if he remembered O'Brien's January 28 warning that the virus would be the biggest national security threat of his presidency ... No, no. No, I don’t. No, I don’t. I’m sure if he said it – you know, I’m sure he said it. Nice guy.

...

And much more - not just from Trump but many others Woodward spoke with.
