A third Republican senator has tested positive, potentially preventing a scheduled senate vote on the supreme court nomination. And Trump has released a new video from the hospital.

pulling attacking ads the right thing to do if you're trying to be the difference and the bigger person and not be like one of them.
Biden simply knows its electoral suicide to criticize a President while they are sick
but did they replace them with more appropriate ads to gain more votes?
if you haven't made your mind up by now, some ad isn't going to change your mind

Eva888: Just watched Trump speak from the hospital. Wearing a suit and with open neck shirt, he looks the picture of good health! I can’t even see a glazed look or any difference in speaking voice. Can't help marvel at his strength, or...wonder if it’s an election ploy?
I think for starters you should probably forget the possibility that his Covid infection is faked. The simplest explanation is probably true - he's got it.
Then, he's been given an unapproved antibody treatment, and also an anti-viral. I think both are given as infusions - slowly administered via a drip. The anti-viral seemed to work sometimes in trials, the trials IIRC were only administering to very ill patients. It's suggested that earlier administration - before patients become extremely unwell - may be more effective. But apart from generalisations as to who may be most at risk due to predisposing conditions, they (Drs) don't know who's going to get really sick and who isn't. They're not going to administer these drugs to every patient, or every patient with predisposing conditions, you're probably going to need to be monitored in a hospital, the antibody treatment is very expensive. Sure a drip could be set up at home, but before getting the drugs he was given, you'd be in a condition where you'd be hospitalised anyway.
Not for the POTUS though. I think making out that he was very sick, but had a remarkable recovery suits the agenda. His superior genetics and remarkable state of health together with prayers to Jesus and miracle drugs (that nobody else would have access to in early mildly symptomatic stages) saved him from near death. He's a hero.
That he was given treatment not available to the millions of Americans who are contracting Covid isn't a good look. The narrative that he was "gravely ill" but saved by God or Science has more votes in it.

Record High Number Of Americans Think Political Violence Is Justified
Americans Increasingly Believe Violence is Justified if the Other Side Wins
Among Americans who identify as Democrat or Republican, 1 in 3 now believe that violence could be justified to advance their parties’ political goals—a substantial increase over the last three years.
These numbers are even higher among the most ideological partisans. Of Democrats who identify as “very liberal,” 26 percent said there would be “a great deal” of justification for violence if their candidate loses the presidency compared to 7 percent of those identifying as simply “liberal.” Of Republicans who identify as “very conservative,” 16 percent said they believe there would be “a great deal” of justification for violence if the GOP candidate loses compared to 7 percent of those identifying as simply “conservative.” This means the ideological extremes of each party are two to four times more apt to see violence as justified than their party’s mainstream members.
All together, about 1 in 5 Americans with a strong political affiliation says they are quite willing to endorse violence if the other party wins the presidency.
Democrats have interpreted Trump’s remarks and tweets as legitimizing or even encouraging violence by his supporters—fears only intensified by the president’s comments during this week’s debate urging the Proud Boys, a misogynistic white supremacist group that has been active in recent street protests, to “stand back and stand by.”
Republicans, for their part, interpreted Joe Biden’s rhetorical question in a recent speech, “Does anyone believe there will be less violence in America if Donald Trump is reelected?” as a veiled threat of violence should Biden lose.

Was just thinking, it'd actually be quite good if Trump infected Biden during the debate and they both kicked the bucket. Then the race would be between a geriatric who listens to the voices in his head [*] and an apparently rational younger non-white woman. There's a remote chance she might even get elected.
[*] Technically only the one voice, but still, not a good sign from a presidential backup.
