Batman: Don't count him out. These people are most unpredictable when cornered in.

Just in case you missed the VP debate ...
The New York Times - A fly sat atop Mike Pence’s head for two minutes during the V.P. debate.
Vice President Mike Pence, his hair perfectly coiffed, never reacted to the fly’s appearance on the right side of his head. It stood out against his bright white hair, standing still for the most part but moving around slightly before flying away.
A local TV news reporter from California clocked the fly’s screen time on Mr. Pence’s head at 2 minutes, 3 seconds.

Some bright morning when this life is over, I'll fly away
To that home on God's celestial shore, I'll fly away
Fred99:
I hope the all more extreme "pro-life" folks are aware that the POTUS has been infused with the Regeneron monoclonal antibody cocktail that was developed using cultured cell lines from an aborted fetus.
If the Dems really cared about this, during the live streamed Senate confirmation hearings for scotus ACB, under oath, they should ask her to confirm that if she overturns Roe human embryo cells won't be able to save Dear Leader
Trump has declared he will give the antibodies for free "to those who need" it.
After winning second term - I never said that. Obama's hoax.

Regeneron have said that they can only supply 50,000 doses. There are 2,500,000 active cases in the US right now, even if it was available, only one in 50 infected people could be treated to receive the "Presidential Remedy".
Then again, there's no evidence yet that it works. Then there's a problem in that it's only two monoclonal antibodies, three are often used to prevent "mutational escape". Mutational escape is bad - because the viruses that escape and infect others can't be treated any more with the "miracle cure" - if that's what it actually is.

It's OK, it wasn't a female fly.
This is good. Not "Mainstream Media" but a catalogue:
– Sexual Misconduct, Harassment, & Bullying
– White Supremacy, Racism, Homophobia, Transphobia, & Xenophobia
– Public Statements / Tweets
– Collusion with Russia & Obstruction of Justice
– Trump Staff & Administration
– Trump Family Business Dealings

Editorial in the New England Journal of Medicine:
Dying in a Leadership Vacuum
Covid-19 has created a crisis throughout the world. This crisis has produced a test of leadership. With no good options to combat a novel pathogen, countries were forced to make hard choices about how to respond. Here in the United States, our leaders have failed that test. They have taken a crisis and turned it into a tragedy.
The magnitude of this failure is astonishing.

This came up during a discussion yesterday about who people were voting for, it really brought out the best in some national leaders, while demonstrating just how bad others were. In NZ's case the consensus (in the discussion) was that without Covid19 Jacinda would have been a somewhat ho-hum single-term PM, but she's exactly the leader we needed with Covid19 factored in. A bit like how Churchill wasn't a particularly good peacetime PM but was exactly what the UK needed during a time of crisis.
