BARR BEGS TRUMP NOT TO LET ONE ISOLATED INCIDENT OF HONESTY WIPE OUT TWO YEARS OF LYING

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)—With his job on the line, Attorney General William Barr begged Donald J. Trump not to let one isolated incident of honesty wipe out two years of effective lying.

According to those who witnessed the Oval Office meeting between the two men, Barr desperately sought to remind Trump of the steady stream of outrageous whoppers that he had spewed during his tenure as the President’s toadying lackey.

“What about when I said the Mueller report exonerated you?” Barr pleaded. “That was a great one, wasn’t it?”

“And remember when I said that no tear gas was used on the protesters in Lafayette Park?” he said. “We’ve had so many good times together.”

The Attorney General tried to excuse his one moment of honesty as “temporary insanity” and assured Trump that it would “never happen again.”

“Even the greatest liars slip and tell the truth sometimes,” he said.

“I don’t,” said Trump.

Was that or was that not a FART.

The real election scandal, is Rudy covering up !

Rudy Giuliani farts twice during hearing.

https://youtu.be/pMXvH6T2vtM

Rudy's spillin the beans.

Rudy's "star witness" - and this is verbatim - what this half-witted conspiracy theorist Melissa Carone actually said in a court hearing, Rudy by her side:

"Like, a lot of people think all Indians look alike. I think all Chinese look alike. So how would you tell? If some Chow shows up, you can be anybody and you can vote."

There is something seriously wrong in America.  Dunning-Kruger effect or whatever, combined with entrenched hideous racism, and worship of villains.

A comment I read elsewhere that IMO sums things up pretty well:

"Trump might not be planning a real coup, but if he was, he'd be doing exactly what he is actually doing now"

Where do they find these people? Is this the best Trump can do?
Of course, his followers will proudly say she is speaking the truth, the system is against them, and blah blah blah...

They're creating them flat out, on Facebook, on Twitter, and on Fox News, Hannity, Tucker Carlson etc.

Those are "mainstream" social media and news.

Then they're blatantly offering rewards / cash incentives for "witnesses" to "come forward" to testify against America.

It's fascism 101.

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)

Even a year ago, Borowitz was instantly recognisable as parody.

Now - he's being outdone by "reality" - machine gunning of utterly unbelievable bullsh*t from the WH and the anti-democracy "We The People" movement.

Fred99: He might not be able to steal money donated to his campaign for personal use, but he sure as hell can use it over the next few years to keep his cult faithful.

Trump will steal it use it because he can do anything he wants and regulations IRS stupid charity rules etc all hate the greatness of Trump.

Pre-Trump this sort of statement would be splashed all over the Internet, but these last 5 years are not normal.

Democratic Al Franken resigns because prior to be a Senator he was a comedian entertaining American troops; He rehearsed a kiss scene on stage and was too aggressive. Later while a female soldier was asleep, he posed for a photograph "honking" her breasts (no contact.) Trump tweats "The Al Frankenstien picture is really bad, speaks a thousand words."

36 democrat Senators (no republicans) ask him to resign, which he does. Seven later said they over-reacted.

At the exact moment the Franken story broke, in an Alabama Senate special election the Republican candidate in the race, Roy Moore, was accused of sexually abusing, assaulting, or attempting to pick up teens when he was an adult. Moore was even banned from the local mall at one point. Trump not only endorsed him, but attend a rally with him.

Trump talks to grabbing women by the p_ssy, walking into dressing rooms unannounced during his Miss America contests, but he's president.

Carrone: "Like, a lot of people think all Indians look alike. I think all Chinese look alike. So how would you tell? If some Chow shows up, you can be anybody and you can vote."

Imagine if Carrone could stand at the booth and decide who can vote. Just like the old days. Well, we all know what MAGA means for these people by now.

Oh for goodness sake...

Giuliani / Trump's "star witness" (above) had just completed a sentence -  12 months probation - for computer crime.

She's also lied about having qualifications she doesn't have.

Rudy Giuliani even tried to shush her at one point, as she asserted: "I know what I saw. I know what I saw. If I'm wrong I can go to prison."

I hope that he'll take the hint - soon!   But he probably won't.  😕

EDIT  (added text)

The Washington Post - Judges turn back claims by Trump and his allies in six states as the president’s legal effort founders

today

President Trump and his allies faced a crush of defeats in post-election litigation Friday, a further sign of their ongoing failure to overturn President-elect Joe Biden’s victory through the courts and to gain traction through baseless claims of widespread fraud.

Just over a month after the Nov. 3 election, the Trump campaign and other Republicans suing over Biden’s win were dealt court losses across six states where they have tried to contest the results of the presidential race - Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada and Wisconsin.

Judges ruled decisively that Trump’s side has not proved the election was fraudulent, with some offering painstaking analyses of why such claims lack merit and pointed opinions about the risks the legal claims pose to American democracy. ...

As long as anyone (ie, his fanbase, sycophants, cronies, etc) keep listening to his lies and believe that he had the election stolen from him, he won't be taking hints from anyone outside of his own head, sadly.

Meanwhile over 2500 died in the US from coronavirus today (apparently one person every 30 seconds). As usual, Trump couldn't care less.

"Arizona Court DENIES Election Contest. Court: "Plaintiff has not proven that the Biden/Harris ticket did not receive the highest number of votes." Trump and his allies have now lost 46 post-election lawsuits."

Maricopa County, home of Joe Arpaio, the Sheriff pardoned by Donald. Even Maricopa County denies Trump.

46 lawsuits.

LOSER.
