Oh if he'd won, all we would hear was "beautiful election result...the most fair the entire world has ever seen, in the history of the world, ever..." and blah blah blah...

But he didn't - yet tried (and failed) to seize power.

If he had succeeded there wouldn't have been a United States for him to be president of. Whole sections of the country would have left the union and civil war may well have broken out.

Trump finally launched his own website (I thought he had one even before he was President?):

https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-56989500

It is like a blog. While it gives him free rein to do and say as he pleases, I wonder how many of his devoted fanbase will follow him to it, as opposed to Twitter, Facebook, etc.

Technically it's more like a blog, but he uses it the same way he used Twitter. Short stupid comments and insults. Just now no-one can reply or comment. I just had a look at it, it's really quite sad and pathetic.

If people can't reply or comment, it's essentially an echo chamber for Trump's thoughts, like Parler was. Heck, it's not even that.

Maybe he'll open up commenting one day...or not.

He's probably afraid of hearing from Liz Cheney.

NOTE: "President Trump" endorses ...

(Some sources maintain that living former U.S. presidents continue to be addressed as "Mr. President", both formally and informally, and some contemporary experts on etiquette maintain that it is entirely appropriate.)

Mike Pompeo objecting to a CIA recruiting initiative trying to get his old job back:

It amazes me someone who held that position uses language like this.

It will be so hilarious if the GOP can't take the House next year after whoring themselves out to Trump lol.

As for Trump I'm not even sure he wants to run in 2024, all of this crap could be for fundraising.

+1

Fund raising is the only thing that Trump has ever been any good at, and right now he must be desperate for money.

As much as I dislike Trump and everything he represents, I believe he can still be called President. I remember at the debates in 2019, Biden was still being addressed as Vice President Biden, even though he'd been out of the job for over 2 years; ditto Hillary still being called Secretary of State (again, despite not being in the job).

He's still calling himself "President of the United States" in his blog.

Once president, always president. The only thing I'm not sure about is whether you can use the full title or just "President X".

Looks like Pompeo's been at it for a while:

Almost sounds like he's aiming for an endorsement from America 's best known identity nutjobs with the scary white hats.
