I wonder how much he will try to sell the limited edition NFT's of him in an Orange Jumpsuit for?

(At least the colour should match the occupant of said jumpsuit!)

It would be unlike him to miss an opportunity to top up his coffers! Oops I mean his "defence fund"!

Trump NFT Sales Spike Again With Historic Indictment

01 April 2023*

The former U.S. president's NFT collection, which has risen and fallen repeatedly since launch, is again a hot seller.

March is on track to be the worst month yet for Trump NFT trading card sales volume, but a late-month surge tied to former United States president Donald Trump's indictment by a New York grand jury has boosted prices and trading activity around the collection. ...

Sales have surged since last night, with CryptoSlam reporting a 404% increase in secondary trading volume over the past 24 hours compared to the previous span.

The site reports $184,000 worth of Trump NFT sales over the past day. ...

Much like its namesake celebrity politician and entrepreneur, the short life of Trump NFTs has been a rollercoaster ride.

This article maybe a hoax, but it quotes specific NFT prices. Several other articles support it.

Mike Luckovich / Atlanta Journal-Constitution

Mike Luckovich, the cartoonist for the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, has recently drawn a cartoon in anticipation of Thursday’s news ...

"Trump makes former president Richard M. Nixon look like a saint, and I’ve been waiting for Trump’s indictment like a kid waiting for Christmas,” Luckovich says.

Trump raises US$4 million in 24 hours after the indictment.

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2023/03/31/donald-trump-fundraising-campaign-indictment/11580608002/

Imo if convicted - the fine for the offense will be less than 10% of that.

It will be a separate fundraiser for the fine! What's "left over" from the above will be in you know who's personal coffers before you can say "Stolen Election"! (If not there already)

The NY Times - Trump Flourishes in the Glare of His Indictment

02 April 2023

WASHINGTON - Since long before he entered the White House, former President Donald J. Trump has been an any-publicity-is-good-publicity kind of guy.

In fact, he once told advisers, “There’s no bad press unless you’re a pedophile.” Hush money for a porn star? Does not make the cut.

And so, while no one wants to be indicted, Mr. Trump in one sense finds himself exactly where he loves to be - in the center ring of the circus, with all the spotlights on him.

He has spent the days since a grand jury called him a potential criminal milking the moment for all it’s worth, savoring the attention as no one else in modern American politics would.

He has blitzed out one fund-raising email after another with the kind of headlines other politicians would dread, like “BREAKING: PRESIDENT TRUMP INDICTED” and “RUMORED DETAILS OF MY ARREST” and “Yes I’ve been indicted, BUT” - the “but” being but you can still give him money.

And when it turned out that they did give him money, a total of $4 million by his campaign’s count in the 24 hours following his indictment ...

I completely fail to understand the mentality of anybody who willingly gives money to a billionaire for his own private use.

The NY Times - Your Monday Briefing: Donald Trump’s legal tactics

today

Delay. Delay. Delay. Attack. Attack. Attack.

Those tactics have formed Donald Trump’s legal strategy for much of his life, and will likely be how he fights the charges leveled against him. And the attacks have already begun.

Trump has called Alvin Bragg, the Manhattan district attorney who indicted him, a “degenerate psychopath.”

And the former president claims Juan Merchan - the judge in the case, who last year presided over the tax fraud trial of Trump’s family real estate company - “hates” him. That earlier trial ended in a conviction on 17 felonies.

Trump has repeatedly thrown sand in the gears of the legal system.

In the early days of the investigation that led to this indictment, the president sued to block a document demand, which held up the inquiry for 18 months while the case went to the Supreme Court - twice.
