So if he does go to jail, can he still run as president? Apparently there's nothing in the Constitution that prevents it, I understand.

Yes, he can still run as President. But only around the exercise yard.

Riiiiiiiight. I'm sure having a president behind bars won't make the US a laughingstock to the rest of the world

/sarcasm

(not directed at you btw, geekit).

Well, USA putting a traitorous 'Ex' President in prison would actually be a shining beacon that things can get better.
While the system is not perfect 'nothing is' it is better than the alternative.

An example to others that if the most powerful nation can do this and correct its course.
Others can too.

A lesson too, that being seen as silly or stupid is never a good reason not to do the right thing.
Being brave is not just about facing bullets or death.

Merry Christmas!

Now for something completely different.

("BlackPink" is a South Korea girl's band. Worth checking out the song "Pink Venom" for their absurd number of video cuts/minute)

Haley is not unblemished but she is so much better than Trump and she would be acceptable as a 'normal' candidate and even a Republican president if it came to that. Regardless of what happens in the presidential election, if she becomes the Republican candidate I will start to believe a little in the American system of government again. Maybe it can pull itself out of this cesspit after all.

Honestly, I hope he never, ever shuts up about 2020. If it means he's forever looking backwards and he goes on to lose (again), I'm all for it 👍
