The Supreme Court on Tuesday gave Jack Smith, the special counsel prosecuting former President Donald J. Trump, a week to respond to Mr. Trump’s emergency application asking the justices to halt an appeals court’s ruling that rejected his claim that he is absolutely immune from criminal charges.

In asking Mr. Smith to respond by next Tuesday at 4 p.m., the justices did not set a particularly speedy schedule.

But nothing prevents Mr. Smith from filing sooner, and he probably will. ...

Certain Republican/Trumplican/Evangelical comments go that the case is not strong, because its taking too long.
Or that Left/Democrats/Deep-State, deliberately took their time to ruin the election.
Followed by, we have the right to select a dictator, the meanest and most vengeful cos thats what smitey God would do.

Would not be surprised if Supreme court go, well its such a difficult question, we have to wait till after the election.

Well you know what his son-in-law Jared Kushner totally fixed the Middle East. Why not let his daughter-in-law fix the Republican Party? Trump issued a strong statement of support for Lara he said

I find it hilarious that Trump bashes Nikki Haley's husband for not being present at her campaign rallies (because he is on active duty in the military overseas) while Melania rigorously avoids his own events. Maybe that valentine is a desperate plea to her to at least show up at one.

Trump has no concept of spelling, grammar or context. He says whatever comes into his head, which is becoming increasingly disjointed. He also 'writes' that way (quotes to indicate that Trump writing is like a monkey at a keyboard). The quoted remark was intended by him to be speaking sarcastically in Haley's voice, but Trump is too ignorant of the English language to know how to do that.
