Stephanie Winston Wolkoff was a former aid and long time friend of Melania. Wolkoff recently claimed that Trump no longer displayed "chivalry" towards the former model during public appearances.

She made this post:

"When a journalist asked, 'Mrs. Trump, are you going to return to the campaign trail with your husband?' Melania said, 'Stay Tuned' Let me interpret this for you. DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATHE"

From "The Tonight Show" starring Jimmy Fallon. Monologue:

"Melania made a rare public appearance alongside of him.

And I think even Trump was shocked, because he reacted to seeing Melania the same way Biden reacted to seeing Marjorie Taylor Greene at the State of the Union.

When asked if she would return to the campaign trail, Melania said, 'Stay tuned,' which is code for, 'Ask me again when he's not here.'"

😒💀

The NY Times - Opinion -  Donald Trump, Blasphemous Bible Thumper

March 30, 2024

Donald Trump is presenting himself as the Man on the Cross, tortured for our sins. “I consider it a great badge of courage,” he tells crowds. “I am being indicted for you.” Instead of Christ-like redemption, he promises Lucifer-like retribution if resurrected. ...

More and more, Trump is wallowing in his Messiah complex.

Two-Corinthians Trump wouldn’t know the difference between Old and New Testaments. So he may not realize that, rather than a sacrificial lamb, he is the Golden Calf, the false god worshiped by Israelites when Moses went up to Mount Sinai to get the Ten Commandments. ...

Happy Holy Week!” he wrote on Truth Social. “Let’s Make America Pray Again. As we lead into Good Friday and Easter, I encourage you to get a copy of the God Bless The USA Bible.”

David Axelrod says that, even as a secular Jew, he’s offended: “This is a guy who has violated 11 of the Ten Commandments.”

I want to have a lot of people have it,” Trump said of his Bible. “You have to have it for your heart, for your soul.

Just what the world needs: a soul cleanse with a grifter Bible, where the profits could well be going to pay legal costs in trials about breaking commandments - bearing false witness to try to steal democracy, coveting a porn star, then paying the star hush money to keep quiet about the sex.

Trump is just another snake oil salesman akin to Elmer Gantry.  💀

Either Trump learned nothing from January 6 riot, or learned too much.

The Telegraph: Trump accused of ‘inciting violence’ after posting image of Biden tied up in a truck

Donald Trump has been accused by Democrats of inciting violence against Joe Biden after he posted a video on social media featuring an image of the US President hog-tied in the back of a truck as if he had been kidnapped.

The former president on Friday shared a clip on his Truth Social account that contained an image of Mr Biden painted on the tailgate of a pickup truck.

Can't wait for SCOTUS to rule that Presidents are immune from prosecution. Then it'll be Trump hog-tied in the pickup and off to sleep with the fishes 😜

Much as I despise him, I dread Trump's death, no matter how innocent the circumstances of his demise.

Every nut case, conspiracy theorist, insurrectionist, and foreign provocateur will come out of the woodwork, exploding into a corrupt, volatile and highly polarized political system.

That will be the Trump legacy.   😕

A much more fitting legacy is a slide into cognitive disfunction so excessive and unpleasant and uncontrollable that even his most ardent supporters turn away in disgusted revulsion.

Agreed, but ... unfortunately, that may only occur after Trump is re-elected.  😦

Hmm...not so sure about that. I've always maintained that Trump has somehow managed to enthrall a sizeable chunk of the US population. And I mean enthrall in a literal sense, ie, to mesmerize, beguile, hook, induce, inveigle, lure, seduce, solicit. Even to grip, bind, subjugate and in some cases, enslave.

And were he to suddenly disappear, I believe his influence would vanish, if not immediately then over a relatively short time.

If you disagree, consider where the US, and indeed the World, would be if Trump had never existed. This person is not only entirely surplus to requirements, his continued existence is a threat to everyone alive.

It would be a better place.  ☺️

The immunity case in Donald J. Trump v. United States will centre on one simple sentence:

“Whether and if so to what extent does a former President enjoy presidential immunity from criminal prosecution for conduct alleged to involve official acts during his tenure in office.”

Having done quite bit of reading on this, I fear that the "line in the sand" ruling that is required from SCOTUS on this matter will be vague. IMO there are two areas in the above sentence that need to be looked at:

Whether and if so to what extent and official acts.

Those two areas are very broad and complex and SCOTUS has always tried to, using the beast that is the English language, to make rulings in one or two brief sentences.

YEP, good luck with that.

Either way it goes, it will be pushed back down the judicial chain and Trump will carry on employing his usual tactics of: Deter, Deny, Delay, Defend, Don't Pay.

Even if he does not get re-elected 🤞, he will continue with his usual antics for the simple reason he has 'a' or 'multiple' mental illnesses. But most of all he hates to lose!

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

If I haven't already mentioned it, Trump doesn't fear bodily harm or death. He fears bankruptcy & being brought down to the level of those he stamps upon for the fun of it.

Prop up failed financial institutions with public money. Ask for more tax, while vastly reducing public services. An American dictator could have happened anytime in the last 50 years.

During the 2011 White House Correspondents’ Dinner, President Barack Obama delivered a series of humorous jabs, including mocking Donald Trump. At that time, Trump was a political nobody. The dinner became a turning point for Trump, as it motivated him to consider running for president.

We're lucky it was someone as stupid as Trump. We might not be lucky next time.

Isaac Asimov observed, “What is really amazing, and frustrating, is mankind’s habit of refusing to see the obvious and inevitable until it is there, and then muttering about unforeseen catastrophes.”

Carl Sagan: “We have also arranged things so that almost no one understands science and technology. This is a prescription for disaster. We might get away with it for a while, but sooner or later this combustible mixture of ignorance and power is going to blow up in our faces.”
