If only I had access to my sharpie I could have moved the cyclone to somewhere else, like Mexico , and did you see the wall they built for me, the start of a big beautiful wall, Mexico will be paying for that.

The Trump version and the Kemp version :
The NY Times - Trump, No Stranger to Playing Storm Politics, Visits a Battered Georgia
30 Sep 2024
Minutes after touching down in storm-ravaged Valdosta, Ga., former President Donald J. Trump made an elaborate false claim about the Biden administration’s response to Hurricane Helene.
“The governor’s doing a very good job,” Mr. Trump said of the state’s Republican governor, Brian Kemp. The problem, the former president insisted, was that Mr. Kemp was “having a hard time getting the president on the phone.” ...
But earlier on Monday, Mr. Kemp himself told a different story. He said that he and Mr. Biden had spoken the night before, and made clear he appreciated the president’s responsiveness.
“He just said, Hey, what do you need?” Mr. Kemp said. “And I told him, you know, we got what we need. We’ll work through the federal process.” ...
The anecdote from Mr. Trump was revealing less for its dishonesty than for what it highlighted about his approach to federal disaster relief.
As president, he viewed federal aid through the prism of his personal politics, threatening to withhold money from governors of blue states whom he saw as enemies, and promising “A-plus” treatment for his allies.

Only to a point. John Key was talking about Trump's economic policies which he said will be better for the US than those of Harris.
However he was rather more circumspect about Trump in other areas.
He also said Trump would never get to be the leader of a party like National here in New Zealand.
The headline had a rather click bait feel about it. The article when read in its entirety didn't quite match the headline.

A 43-foot-tall nude effigy of Donald Trump erected near Las Vegas, Nevada.
Newsweek - Giant Naked Donald Trump Statue Sparks MAGA Fury
01 Oct 2024
Conservatives have decried a 43-foot-tall nude effigy of Donald Trump that was erected over the weekend on Interstate 15, near Las Vegas.
An anonymous spokesperson for the unnamed artist told Las Vegas' News 3 the massive sculpture, called "Crooked and Obscene," weighs 6,000 pounds and is made of foam and rebar. ...
The Wrap reported that the effigy will travel the United States as part of a Crooked and Obscene Tour.
It quoted the tour's unnamed organizers, who said that portraying Trump nude was "intentional, serving as a bold statement on transparency, vulnerability, and the public personas of political figures," and that they wanted viewers to think about "transparency - or lack thereof - in politics, challenging viewers to think critically about political influence."
EDIT: I think that I prefer the Baby Trump balloon :

That shouldn't matter. I think this may be the single thread where we're allowed to break the iron rule of Geekzone but I'll still be circumspect: maybe he can make the trains run on time. But the only place he deserves to be is federal prison, not the White House.

Trump knows nothing about economic policies - he hasn't the intellect. He just parrots others if it sounds like something he should have have thought of himself.

Yeah, I watched the actual interview - I think the attempt to be relatable by having a baby helicopter was a bit much, but I still can't get past his preference for a Trump/Vance leadership under any circumstances.

Guys like Key have nothing in common with ordinary people. Trump's much the same, except he has nothing in common with humans.
