We don't even need to debate whether Trump did in fact behave as per many of his accusers asserted. We know from his own unguarded words that he thinks sexual assault and sexual harassment of women is okay.

Wow. Just Wow. A Lawyer that believes in guilty till proven innocent.

Calm down and re-read what @dejadeadnz posted.

I'm calm, reads the same way to me a second (and third) time.

I can't see how that says Trump is "guilty until proven innocent".

He's has undoubtedly behaved and made comments suggesting sexual harassment of women is okay.  That's not an accusation of "crime".  Just that he's a dirty old man.

As for my opinion... it's just that, and opinion.

No - you're trying to "qualify" that opinion by making stuff up (or repeating stuff "made up" by others).

What was made up?  It's just my opinion.  Obama was a sh*te president.

*He* was a sh*te President, or his Presidency was sh*te because he was blocked every step of the way from doing what he wanted by bone headed Republicans who tried to stop him "just because'?

The way I read this:

We don't even need to debate whether Trump did in fact behave as per many of his accusers asserted

Is that Deja was inferring that the sexual crimes (actual assault such as on the Plane etc) and the other women who have come forward to accuse him of assault, he was guilty of (without debate).

All that I can think of is:

If Michael Schumacher wakes up and they asks who the president of the united states, and someone says "Donald Trump, ya know that guy from the TV show 'The Apprentice'". He's gonna be like did I miss something?

Actually, unless "we" are clairvoyant, we don't really know what Donald Trump thinks.  We can "assume" that we know but, that would be thrown out with an objection if presented in court.  It's a faulty statement and subject to being argumentative.

Incidentally, who is "we" in this instance?

There's no inference of guilt (or innocence) in that comment.

Rubbish.  Trump's provided us with written and spoken words verifying that he's a dirty old man.

What!?

Paraphrasing that sentence, I read it to be:

There is no need to debate his guilt around these accusations as it's quite clear from his earlier statements he believes there is nothing wrong with doing it, so he must be guilty.

Again, my opinion... he was a sh*te president.  However, let's entertain the presidency concept and dig into the "blocked every step of the way from doing what he wanted by bone headed Republicans" discussion.  By all means, please post several voting results where he was over-powered by Republicans.  Be sure to list the actual votes against the agenda items.  "Every step of the way" is a rather broad and bold statement.  If in fact he was blocked every step of the way then it proves, he didn't accomplish bupkiss while in office.  If he did accomplish something then your sweeping statement is wrong.

What makes a dirty old man?  If I'm 50+ and look at an 18 year old and think, Mmmm beautiful woman... am I a dirty old man?  How about if I'm the POTUS and get a hummer in the Oval Office by an intern?  Does that make me a dirty old man?  :)

I might have to nominate this thread for " Most Pointless Thread On Geekzone, Ever."

Trump WILL be president. Our opinions have as much relevance as those of my dogs and nothing short of his death will change him being POTUS between now and his inauguration.

Clearly a lot of people are of differing views but, at page 110, we're just running round in circles between the "Yay Trump is POTUS" gang and the "No way should Trump be POTUS" gang.

How on earth would you fit a hummer in the Oval Office? They are pretty big vehicles.

Nah mate, it's not trolling just because I have a different opinion.  I'm more than happy to discuss politics with people even when we completely disagree.  That's no reason to take up arms and declare a personal war on someone.

Heh, there have been worse, I promise :)

Not sure how many "yay Trump is POTUS" there are, but there are some "Let's just see what happens, maybe extend a little wait and see, given it's inevitable he will be President".

What has shocked me, is that there have been suggestions it would be better if he was assassinated. Removed from Office, sure, Killed? Wow.

But as you point out, it's kind of pointless, so I will unsubscribe for now, unless addressed directly.
