Previously Agriculture Secretary Rollins programs cancelled local food purchases for schools and food banks saying they were non-essential.

She also canceled a $600,000 research grant intended for studying the safety of menstrual products.

She withheld funds allocated for conservation on farms

And most recently suggested that Americans could combat high egg prices by raising chickens in their backyards.

Egg prices will remain elevated as Easter approaches, Agriculture Secretary Rollins says: Fox News

Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins warned that the price of eggs will remain elevated, especially as the Easter and Passover holidays near.

Rollins, speaking to reporters at the White House on Tuesday, said that prices might "inch back up."

"We're going into the Easter season. This is always the highest price for eggs,"

Hold on .. although ... *Tinkerisk mumbles to himself* ... there is one major difference:

A horde of monkeys would never vote for an Orange Buffon as their leader. 😊

Interesting conversation with some folks yesterday:

Them: Trump is doing this deliberately to short the stock market.

Me: Naah, he's not smart enough for that.

Them: His handlers are.

No idea how accurate that is if at all, but given how easily manipulated he is it's certainly possible.

RFK Jr trying to spread his wacky influence to restaurants:

Independent/MSN: This newfound concern has reached new health secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who has gone so far as to claim Americans are being "unknowingly poisoned" by seed oils, advocating for a return to beef tallow, or rendered animal fat, in fast-food restaurants. The impact of this movement is already being felt in the food industry. Some manufacturers have reformulated products to remove seed oils, and restaurant chains, such as Sweetgreen, have eliminated them from their menus. Many Americans say they now avoid seed oils, according to a recent survey International Food Information Council, an industry trade group. The seed oil discussion has exasperated nutrition scientists, who say decades of research confirms the health benefits of consuming such oils, especially in place of alternatives such as butter or lard.

A return to bulk animal fats and low quality animal fats especially is not going to benefit health. Seed oils are definitely better for health than that. Olive oils have additional health benefits and are very unlikely to be used in fast food similar family restaurants related to high cost.

Elon Musk, Who Promised To Be 'Maximally Transparent,' Makes DOGE's Numbers Even Harder To Check: Yahoo

Elon Musk, who is unofficially in charge of the federal cost-cutting initiative known as the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), was certainly right about that.

News outlets have repeatedly identified embarrassing and consequential mistakes in DOGE's data on [an extremely long list of items of just about everything, including adding in big ticket items that were cancelled before Trump took office]

While conceding his fallibility, Musk promised to be "as transparent as possible." Toward that end, he said, "we post our actions" on the DOGE striving to be "maximally transparent." That characterization of DOGE's activities has proven to be less accurate.

Contrary to Musk's promise ...the Trump administration tried to shield his project from Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests by moving the U.S. DOGE Service (USDS) ... from one department bound by FOIA .. another under Trump. A federal judge rejected that dodge on Monday, saying "it is likely covered by FOIA"
...
DOGE has withheld most of that information. Although the website that Musk touted currently claims $115 billion in "estimated savings," the details of that calculation remain mysterious.

https://www.msn.com/en-nz/news/other/union-rages-after-elon-musk-shares-x-post-that-hitler-didn-t-murder-millions-public-sector-workers-did/ar-AA1ATjGZ: MSN

Workers blasted DOGE hatchet man Elon Musk Thursday after he reposted a startling message on X declaring that “Hitler didn’t murder millions of people. Public sector employees did.”

Lee Saunders, union president of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees of the AFL-CIO, fired off a furious response saying: “America’s public service workers — our nurses, teachers, firefighters, librarians — chose making our communities safe, healthy and strong over getting rich. They are not, as the world’s richest man implies, genocidal murderers.”

He added: “Elon Musk and the billionaires in this administration have no idea what real people go through every day. That’s why he’s so willing to take a chainsaw to people’s jobs, Medicaid, Social Security and Medicare.”

Stalin, Mao and Hitler didn't murder millions of people. Their public sector workers did.

This is a stupid, childish post, and Musk is just as stupid for re-posting it.
It's patently obvious that those three murderous dictators didn't personally kill anyone. Like any other people who've controlled large organizations, they delegated tasks to others. But that doesn't make them-or Musk-any less guilty.

John Schnatter is the former former CEO of Papa John's Pizza. He is well-known for using the word n*gger frequently, even recently.

In early 2018 he criticized the National Football League, NFL, for not stopping football players from protesting during the national anthem, which resulted in the NFL terminating its association with Papa John's Pizza.

Later, he participated in a role-playing exercise to help him avoid making remarks that could cause public controversy and damage the company's reputation.

Schnatter said, "Colonel Sanders called blacks n*ggers and Sanders never faced public outcry". He "resigned" as chairman of the board the same day the incident was reported.

In a strange twist, almost unheard of, there was no golden parachute. He did not receive a typical executive severance or payout upon "resignation".

In 2022 He said "You saw last night when Mike Lindell was raided with the FBI, Trump just got raided. I mean, we now have Nazi Germany, where if you're a conservative and you believe in conservative principles and you're outspoken, you got the KGB."

More recently John Schnatter was upset that Shaquille O'Neal became face of the franchise. The legendary NBA center Shaquille O'Neal has ownership in dozens of businesses, including Krispy Kreme, Five Guys and 24-Hour Fitness.

"Of all the things, that was the most racist, they're going to use a black guy to cover up what they did to a white guy? That's racist. Now, that's racist. They did it, right in front of America. It was just to shield to cover up the infidelties of what they did to me."

This week John Schnatter said to Newsmax: Trump returned "My Freedom of Speech."

Every enlightened person knows that. But if you want to breed uncritical consumer lemmings, they first have to be fed with fake information before they will do it dutifully.
