Plenty of memes/cartoons already posted this week, so just a couple this morning:

Now that's a group chat I'd love to be part of! πŸ˜€

And the orange buffoon talks about freedom of speech...just as long as it's "speech" he agrees with:

Alter Net - 'No adult supervision': Concern escalates as Trump increasingly appears out of touch

March 27, 2025

Concerns are mounting over President Donald Trump’s ability, willingness, or even interest in engaging with the most pressing issues facing the country, as he increasingly - and casually - admits to being unaware of critical matters.

His repeated declarations of ignorance, often delivered without hesitation or concern, have deepened alarm among critics who warn of a dangerous void in informed leadership in the Oval Office.

Late Wednesday afternoon, a reporter asked President Trump, “Have you been briefed about the soldiers in Lithuania? Who are missing?

The Commander-in-Chief, appearing both uninformed and unconcerned, simply replied, “No I haven’t.” And moved on to take a question from another reporter. ...

I strongly suspect that in addition to his usual arrogance and stupidity, Trump is developing dementia - as did his father at the same age.  πŸ™

Former Fox News talking head and current Defense secretary :"We are currently clean on OPSEC." OPSEC means operational security. He said that in a group chat. A group chat with a journalist.

Private Data and Passwords of Senior U.S. Security Officials Found Online: Der Spiegel

Private contact details of the most important security advisers to U.S. President Donald Trump can be found on the internet. DER SPIEGEL reporters were able to find mobile phone numbers, email addresses and even some passwords belonging to the top officials.

To do so, the reporters used commercial people search engines along with hacked customer data that has been published on the web. Those affected by the leaks include National Security Adviser Mike Waltz, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth.

Most of these numbers and email addresses are apparently still in use, with some of them linked to profiles on social media platforms like Instagram and LinkedIn. They were used to create Dropbox accounts and profiles in apps that track running data. There are also WhatsApp profiles for the respective phone numbers and even Signal accounts in some cases.

Trump, and his followers, seem to suffer from delusional perception or ideas of reference, which are symptoms commonly seen in conditions like paranoid schizophrenia or delusional disorder.

Trump's executive order today allege that the American Women's History Museum intended to "recognize men as women".

The National Museum of American History (not the American Women's History Museum) once had an exhibit, that included Leo Baker, a skateboarder. That was all. No stated museum policy or plan.

Trump orders elimination of 'anti-American ideology' from Smithsonian institutions: RNZ
The order, titled "Restoring Truth and Sanity to American History", is vague about what the president views as anti-American ideology. But it suggests Trump is seeking to purge elements of what conservatives view as a revisionist history of the United States that places systemic racism at the heart of its narrative.

The order singles out the National Museum of African American History and Culture as problematic, claiming that it informs visitors that "hard work", "individualism" and "the nuclear family" are aspects of "white culture".

The order also asserts the American Women's History Museum plans to celebrate male athletes participating in women's sports.

The White House did not elaborate on the order, and neither the Smithsonian nor the African-American History Museum responded to requests for comment.

The Smithsonian spans 21 museums, most of them in the nation's capital lining the mall from the US Capitol to the Washington Monument and includes the National Air and Space Museum, the National Museum of American History and the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden.

The Smithsonian, whose website said it is the world's largest museum, education and research complex, also encompasses 14 education and research centres, and the National Zoo.

The order is in line with the Trump administration's efforts to do away with diversity and inclusion programs in government, universities and corporations.

Florida May Replace Immigrant Workers With Child Labor: Newsweek

Florida Republicans are pushing to change labor laws and allow teens as young as 14 to work overnight shifts, in an effort to make up for shortfalls caused by deportations.

Why It Matters

There are more than 11 million immigrants with no legal status living in the United States, according to Pew Research Center, and President Donald Trump has vowed to deport millions of them.

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt stated the Trump administration recognized all migrants without status as criminals. But critics say deportations on this scale could mean labor shortages and lead to rising prices.

What To Know

The proposal to change labor law age restrictions aligns with Governor Ron DeSantis' argument that a younger workforce could help replace the "dirt cheap" labor provided by undocumented migrants.

"Why do we say we need to import foreigners, even import them illegally, when you know, teenagers used to work at these resorts, college students should be able to do this stuff"
...
GOP lawmakers are considering eliminating all restrictions on how late and how many hours 16- and 17-year-olds can work, as well as ending their guaranteed meal breaks.

He, and his fellow clowns, have no idea about diplomacy and its language, so what do you expect.

So with the firings of all the experienced people in ALL the Federal bureaucracies, diplomacy and its language is gone and wars will start because of a simple miss spoken/written word or sentence.

Whilst the difficult we can do immediately, the impossible takes a bit longer. However, miracles you will have to wait for.

From the people who regularly cry over 'virtue signaling' like a flock of excited seagulls squawking around a tipped over bucket of chips.

World Peace, Yeh Right.

The logic of the threat to 'world'  peace that Greenland is in a strategic position to stop ?

Can't be Putin's perfect Christian land of testosterone non woke hero's that,
Trump, Vance, Hegseth , Elon, Thiel, MAGA, Evangelicals, Super Wealthy, Techbros love.
Seemingly the template for project 2025.

Could threat be Canada ? Nordic countries ? The EU ?

Never mind that USA has bases in Greenland where it pretty much does what it wants, when it wants.
USA can redevelop their bases it has run down now, nothing but voting the 'money' stands in the way.

Eastern Europe though has been ready with cheque books open to encourage/pay USA to have bases.

Its a much better recruitment poster than the Arctic, or defending 'Trump Gaza', US military has a big problem recruiting.

Art of the deal indeed.

“I don’t fire people because of fake news and because of witch hunts,” Trump said in an interview with NBC News' Kristen Welker.

Surprise, surprise, someone in the orange buffoon's administration makes a major screw-up, but no one is going to be held accountable.

Of course, if Lloyd Austin had done the same thing, my God, Trump would screaming from the rooftops that Biden should be firing him, yesterday πŸ™„

Muncie, Indiana, has a reputation that could be described as politely nonconfrontational and, to some, a bit bland. It embodies the quiet, unassuming Midwest - - neither remarkably exciting nor particularly unpleasant. It often represents average American life in sociological studies.

If Muncie were a flavor, it’d be plain oatmeal.

Trump, Musk and co should have never touched Social Security, Medicare, disaster response (FEMA), veteran care or been so obvious about breaching national security laws.

MAGA is on the back-foot, and the Democratic congress needs to seize the many opportunities.

Steve Bannon and Project 2025 strategy is looking like the Operation Barbarossa (1941), Nazi Germany's invasion of the Soviet Union. Instead of a quick knockout, the Soviets resisted fiercely and absorbed staggering losses

Trump is never interested in significant long-term damage, only tiny short-term gain.

Previous quotes from Elon Musk on Fox News:

"There is a permanent shortage of excellent engineering talent. It is the fundamental limiting factor in Silicon Valley."

Musk is willing to sacrifice American education, as long as well-educated emmigrats are available. "If you want your TEAM to win the championship, you need to recruit top talent wherever they may be."

In the last three months:
  • Trump signed an executive order to dismantle the U.S. Department of Education.

  • Former professional wrestling promoter Linda McMahon, and current Education Secretary supports executive order.

  • DOGE terminated 169 contracts funded by the Institute of Education Sciences , totaling approximately $881 million. These contracts supported essential education research and data collection efforts.

  • The Department of Education announced plans to lay off about 50% of its workforce, equating to roughly 2,200 employees.

  • DOGE personnel gained access to internal databases containing sensitive information on federal student aid, including personal financial details of over 42 million student loan recipients.
75% of US scientists who answered Nature poll consider leaving: Nature

"The massive changes in US research brought about by the new administration of President Donald Trump are causing many scientists in the country to rethink their lives and careers. More than 1,200 scientists who responded to a Nature poll β€” three-quarters of the total respondents β€” are considering leaving the United States following the disruptions prompted by Trump. Europe and Canada were among the top choices for relocation.
