Flip that around, and you would then have to wonder if companies stances would be different is their CEO was gay.

This is the whole point of having diversity in senior management so all voices can be heard....religious, cultural, gender, sexual orientation, etc etc etc

Absolutely. I just wonder in this specific instance because Tim Cook was kowtowing to Trump and appearing at his inauguration just like the other big boys; if he wasn't gay I reckon Apple would be toeing Trump's line rather than doing this.

Bondi was a Florida Attorney General and regularly appeared as a legal analyst on Fox News.

Since its founding in 2021, Bondi has served as chair of the Center for Litigation at the America First Policy Institute (AFPI), a pro-Trump think tank and litigation group.. AFPI brought at least five lawsuits aiming to hinder ballot box access or disenfranchise specific groups of voters.

In the 2020 election which Trump ultimately lost, Bondi twice asserted that Trump had “won Pennsylvania” while approximately 1 million mail-in ballots in Pennsylvania had yet to be counted and no major media outlets had called the state for Trump. The next day, Bondi appeared on Fox News and doubled down on her assertion that Trump had won Pennsylvania, claiming that there was mass “evidence of cheating” in the state, “fake ballots,” and people who had “receiv[ed] ballots who were dead” and still may have voted. During that interview, she also expressed confidence that the Trump campaign’s ongoing litigation in state and federal court might eventually vindicate her view that Trump had won Pennsylvania. Naturally Trump lost.

Attorney General Pam Bondi's links to Qatar are under scrutiny again following reports that President Donald Trump will be gifted a luxury plane from the Qatari government.

Bondi worked as a foreign lobbyist for the nation of Qatar, earning $115,000 a month in the role which she held in 2020 and in the run up to the World Cup in 2022.

In this role, she lobbied Congress on behalf of Qatari interests. She also worked in a separate lobbying position for the Washington, D.C.-based firm Ballard Partners, where she also lobbied on behalf of Qatari interests

A U.S.-funded charter plane carrying dozens of white South Africans who claim to have been victims of discrimination in their home country left Johannesburg on Sunday, heading for the United States, where the Trump administration is welcoming them as refugees.

The departure of the white South Africans, who say they have been denied jobs and have been targeted by violence because of their race, was a remarkable development in President Trump’s redefining of U.S. foreign policy.

Mr. Trump has halted virtually all refugee admissions for people fleeing famine and war from places like Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo. But he has created an expedited path into the country for Afrikaners, a white ethnic minority that created and led the brutal apartheid regime in South Africa.

The refugee process often takes years. But only three months have passed from the time Mr. Trump signed an executive order establishing refugee status for Afrikaners to the first cohort making its way to America.

Cook is said to have a good relationship with Trump and has not kowtowed to anything as far as I'm aware. The wallpaper and new band is a nice touch. The real difference was when Cook went to Apple shareholders to achieve formal shareholder support to continue diversity in hiring.
