Generally the people that flee there country of origin are escaping it because they've turned it into a awful place to live. I don't mind people coming here, I just wish they would leave their failed ideas and opinions back where they came from.

Generally the people that flee their country of origin are escaping it because *someone* has turned it into an awful place to live. The people leaving obviously don't subscribe to the same ideas and opinions as the people who made their homeland impossible for them to live in. They may have different ideas and opinions from you. *I* certainly do.

US foreign policy over the past few decades has too often resulted in them supporting the rise of that "someone" - one way or the other and with an assortment of agendas.  Hindsight is a great thing.  Trump in charge of a military budget 10x that of Russia and 4x that of China would be rather more of a threat than the world has ever seen.

gzt: Wow that's amazing. Where was that exactly? and what happened next?

Some small town near New Orleans.

Nothing happened. They ate and left. She said no-one minded them being there as far as she could tell, they were just surprised because locally that McDonald's was not frequented by the white population.

I for one am very glad that Trumpy has assured us all that he's well endowed. yell

I wonder if any of the ex-Mrs Trumps can confirm his claim?

His latest looks like she's seen a cockatoo (apologies to Dame Edna) and might be well qualified to offer an opinion.

Seems pointless and off-topic to me.

This thread is about a deluded egomaniac who may single-handedly destroy Western civilization in the very near future.

I consider this to be extremely on-topic.  smile

MOHANDAS GANDHI was once asked: “What do you think of Western civilization?”
“I think it would be a good idea,” he replied.

I think he has a good chance. I hope I'm wrong. If not we will live in the dark ages from next year.
