First of all, "you're", not "your"

Second of all, as a US citizen, born and raised on American history, let me assure you there's no cop-out to be found here. Your implied argument is "let he who is without sin cast the first stone," and that is unsound reasoning. The Commander in Chief bears ultimate political responsibility for the results of the US Armed Forces' actions. Pointing fingers at Obama, "who you like", or any other President, has nothing to do with the current situation. Your second fallacy is ad hominem; that one has to be "obsessed" to lay the blame for ill-advised military shenanigans at the feet of the person who ordered them. Obama, et. al. don't have to be innocent for Trump to be guilty. Personally I'm much more disappointed in Obama's presidency than I have been in Trump's so far. I've known Trump was psychotic for years.

You need to reduce the obsession, reduce the attempted psychology, and cease to replace your opinions as if they were facts

And tks for correcting my failed spellchecker, as a pre cursor to increasing your credibility.

Discussion, google it.

Well I hope our prime minister is ready for this call.

It's interesting there are so many detailed transcripts released. Clearly Trump's advisors see that as an image and power boosting move.

Crazy stuff. And surprising, but the surprise of anything lately will disappear. I called 18 months, allowing for due process, now 14.

That is true in some aspects but we live in a globalized world and you can have for better or worse influence on people living in the United States one example would be I run a youtube channel its fairly causal with a few 100,000 views.

Less than 1% of my content is watched in New Zealand, I have never dived in to politics on my channel but I could if I wanted to and influence voters.

Wouldn't that place you in the same area as Russia - an outsider attempting to influence a foreign election? innocent

[Mod edit (MF): no need to quote EVERYTHING - only the relevant last bit folks]

You could be right. But "1,201 people across all 50 US states" sounds like a very small sample for a country that size and diverse.

For the sake of argument, let's assume it is correct. It is somewhat similar to public support for the invasion of Iraq. The presidency is a very powerful platform when it gets going, and it has.

So, if Obama was in power this raid would not have taken place?

According to press reports, Obama held off approving the raid.

The U.S. officials said the extremists’ base had been identified as a target before the Obama administration left office on Jan. 20, but then-President Barack Obama held off approving a raid ahead of his departure.

Only in America  ...  wink

Speaking at the National Prayer Breakfast President Trump urged people to pray for Arnold Schwarzenegger over poor ratings on The Apprentice.

Schwarzenegger suggests a job swap with Trump

Arnold Schwarzenegger has responded quickly to Mr Trump's taunt, with a video on Twitter.

He suggested a job swap so that people could 'sleep comfortably' with him in the White House instead of Mr Trump.

I'd love to see that happen.

He can't open his mouth without the compulsion to tell everyone how he is the best at everything.

Wait 'til he starts on us (NZ).

Netanyahu - emboldened by Trump - and Bannon's vision for a judeo-christian war against Islam - has announced an expansion of settlements.  He had said that the resolution we signed was a "declaration of war".

If Trump can launch into a rant like that against the leader of one of the USA's most loyal "friends", I suspect we're going to be torn to shreds if NZ speaks out.  That's why I'm not "disappointed" by Bill E's mild criticism of Trump's Muslim ban (at this stage).  Once the dust has settled and there's a new order (so NZ knows who our friends are), then's the time to speak out.

I see NZ's Trumpist is keeping a low profile and not making any comments yet. Old Winnie is being smart to not associate too much with him yet.
