More weasel words from the White House. Apparently there is now an 'alternative fact' definition of wiretapping, as in wiretapping doesn't actually mean wiretapping, at least when Trump says it. This as he tries to worm out of the hole he dug for himself before he is forced to put up or shut up. Presidential credibility takes another hit, not that there was any left anyway.

Kellyanne has thrown her $0.02c worth - apparently Obama may have used the microwave to "tapp" <sic> Trump.

"surveillance could be conducted with "microwaves that turn into cameras"

“We know this is a fact of modern life.”

Does she mean electromagnetic radiation or a cooking appliance? And does she even know the difference? tongue-out

OK, I didn't know that as a fact of modern life. I've just gone into the work kitchen and turned the microwave on. It didn't turn into a camera. Disappointed because I was pulling the funniest face in the world and was going to post the picture here. It was a terrific face, I pull the funniest faces by-the-way, you would've loved it.

I didn't know that about microwaves.  I bet there will be lot less hanky panky in kitchens once everyone realises this.

Have to almost feel sorry for Conway, Spicer etc - their job is to defend the indefensible - the ludicrous insane claims via twitter etc of the seriously unhinged President of the USA.

But there's no disincentive for them - so far dirty lies, ludicrous insane claims, whatever - 40% or so remain "faithful" and worse than not being bothered, valid criticism just seems to strengthen their resolve to fight "liberals" etc.

At least one could argue that as Putin does it so much better (lie - and suppress criticism) then Putin isn't pulling Trump's strings.  That makes it probable IMO that Aleksandr Dugin is strategist, and even the clever evil scheming neo-fascist Bannon has been outsmarted.

Actually, Kellyanne is right. RADAR is made up of microwaves and they bounce off of things to form an image. Just open your oven, bypass the safety switch, and see the pretty pictures.

Not only does wire-tapping not mean wire-tapping, but Obama doesn't means Obama.  Apparently he wasn't referring to Barrack Obama, but to the Obama administration... so apparently the Obama administration is a "bad (or sick) guy".

Screenshot from Trump's consecutive tweets to show how thoroughly detached from reality Spicer is.

I would feel sorry for the people who work for Trump if they didn't choose to work for him. It must get really difficult to twist his rants into something that sounds rational. And it is utterly impossible to maintain a shred of integrity while doing so. Spicer and Conway and others will never be able to work in any job again that requires them to sound the least bit credible.

gzt: Woman somewhat harasses Spicer in an Apple store.

Spicer tells her: "Such a great country that allows you to be here"

It's all too easy to imagine the fireside chats at the Whitehouse.

Two horrible people: Spicer, ... and that woman, invading his privacy, shoving a camera in his face, spouting offensive (to him) slogans.

I can't stand the guy, but on this one occasion I was in his corner all the way ... although had to judge it an even draw after he dropped in the racist slur.

Privacy is irrelevant when you are that prominent and in such a two faced destructive role.

Sure she was pushy - but he deserves that and way more for lying on Trumps behalf.

Well, the media don't seem to be doing the job, so somebody has to, on behalf of the US public.
