His tweet about China was on the money though. The US could well shoot down the test ICBM's as "protection against our nation" PRNK will call that a declaration of war, who cares. What would China do? The US is merely protecting itself, not starting a conflict. China needs to be a bit careful here. Lack of action can be seen as encouragement.  Which it is, in as far as keeping NK intact.

North Korea's ICBM tests are for internal propaganda purposes only. Any attack on the USA or China would result in North Korea being utterly obliterated, and KJU & his generals are well aware of this (even if they have convinced their people otherwise).

PRNK wont attack China, that's their only friend. And they wont attack the US as you say. So what your saying is let them do whatever test they like as we all know they wont do anything? Thats what the world is allowing. China is allowing.

A) Why would a rogue country be allowed to do what it likes?

B) Whats wrong once the test missile leaves PRNK waters that it gets shot down?

C) And what happens if and when a test fails and inadvertently lands in Japan and kills citizens?

That's not what I'm saying.

But why can other countries develop and test missiles, but it's not OK for North Korea? Because we don't agree with their politics?

What if North Korea shot down a US missile test over international waters?

To be fair, DPRK has threatened many times to preemptively bomb - the US in particular - to ashes.

Trump has waded into waters he probably shouldn't be in by firing Prebius. If he upsets the GOP too much, he will be removed. I don't think firing Renice was a good idea. But i think this is how Trump rolls, he just fires people if he gets upset with them. And it looks like Bannon might be on the chopping block soon if this Moochi guy gets his way.

The DPRK Regime is purely about survival, its not suicidal. KJU is actually quite intelligent. But that doesn't go to say he is a good person. They believe the USA is a country that bullies smaller countries, and want the USA to leave them alone.

I assume other countries are are in agreeance with the UN. Unsure about India/Pakistan though. NK is a rogue state. I assume if the US ran tests thats in accordance with UN.

My issue is that China is just sitting and watching, they are probably happy with these tests as they prefer PRNK to be anti US than for anything to soften.

And thus he knows there is no US attack pending. So his antics are purely to rule his people with an iron fist. But its looks poor when he is constantly allowed to get away with it, and China the only friend to PRNK, watches. If this was 1960, then PRNK has every right to expect a possible US attack, but its not.

We are the fools

Quite true. But with an ally on China, and US troops there to protect the DMZ, there is no threat from the US

There is no solution to the North Korea problem that doesn't involve rivers of blood. It's like the climax of a Tarantino movie, where everyone has a gun against someone else's head. Eventually someone blinks, and then everyone dies.

Kim couldn't even step down if he wanted to, because if looked like he was going to, he would be dead and replaced with another dictator within hours. As sad as it is, the only thing we can do is nothing.

Perhaps - but the US isn't alone - and at least some of the general public/citizens have some comprehension of the world outside the USA and can express concerns without fear of retribution - though latterly risk being on the receiving end of a tirade of abuse, lies, and threats by their otherwise impotent President.

Beats having a convenient-to-Putin accidental fall, sudden "heart attack"  or dose of something toxic, or a few decades in a cold and very nasty work camp in the PRC.

Yes, we can do nothing, which is what is happening. But, the Japanese are under threat from missiles in their waters, flying overhead. If PRNK is being left alone, as it is, it should test in their own country, and accept that there are nukes aimed at Pyongyang, due to their own cause

If rivers of blood is the only solution then it has to be....of course serious attempts at other means need to come first. The world CANNOT tolerate a rogue state with nuclear capabilities threatening other Countries.

Maybe a full blockade on Nth Korea maybe a start...they are getting away with one in the Gulf.
