freitasm: And Mooch is fired a week into the job. Well oiled machine indeed.

He's served his purpose in providing for the removal of Priebus. Job done.

The way things are going it would not surprise me if the next Communications Director has a military background.

Chain of command, loyalty, whatever.

Trump's problem isn't his staff - it's Trump & family.

All the BS about "pushing the agenda through" should be taken with a grain of salt.  There is no real agenda - just a haphazard collection of random thoughts by a mentally ill POTUS, some of which translated into popular memes that are maintaining a low but consistent level of support - but don't stand up to scrutiny or due process.

High ranking military officers often have a lot of integrity, so could be difficult finding one whose sole job would be to lie to the public.

I am from a family with a long military history, I have also experienced Military Officers trying to be managers in civilian street and have employed a couple to my regret. It generally does not work well and the higher the rank the worst it gets, I hope a certain family member does not read this .

I don't know if Trump has finally found that self deprecating sense of humour admired in leaders, or if he's completely lost his mind.

Trump's sole tweet for the day:

Lock him up!

I vote for the latter. This man is so divorced from reality he would be in an institution if he  wasn't already in one.

At their respective points in the presidency, Barack Obama could tout a total of 228 confirmed appointees and 394 nominations, and George W. Bush had confirmed 208 appointees with 305 nominations.

freitasm:

And the replies to Trump's tweet are a thing of... lunacy:

You should google that Jacob Wohl.

A 19YO "CEO" of hedge funds, facing fraud charges.

Prolific tweeter of sycophantic Trump-worshipping BS, no doubt trying to curry favour - in hope that as a friend of POTUS, he might not go to jail - or may be pardoned.

Trump retweeted one of his rants.  It seems to have encouraged the silly dishonest little boy.
