Fred99:

This reminds me of the cartoon "Pinky and the Brain"

Brainy mouse has departed back to Breitbart - to plot to take over the world.

Pinky mouse (orange tint) is trying very hard to be nice.

Can't wait for the next episode.

Are you thinking what I'm thinking, Don?

I think so, Steve, but where are we going to get three Russian hookers and a Moscow hotel room at this time of night?

The Guardian - David Mitchell on Charlottesville

Apart from a brief interlude on Monday in which he glumly read something out about Nazis being bad, Trump’s response to the violence caused by an extreme rightwing rally has been to share the blame equally between the KKK-sympathising, neo-Nazi, antisemitic-slogan-chanting torch-wielders and those who protested against them.

It’s broadly equivalent to making the occupants of the World Trade Center accept half the responsibility for 9/11 on the basis that they got in the way.

"Congress members raise growing concerns about President Trump’s mental health after Charlottesville responses"

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/politics/congress-members-worried-trump-mental-health-article-1.3427368

President Trump once called his former FBI chief a “nut job.” Now some members of Congress are saying the same thing about him.

The top Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee on Sunday said his colleagues are getting worried about Trump’s mental health — amplifying growing concerns from the past week that the President isn’t fit for his job.

“I certainly think that there’s an issue with the President’s capability,” Rep. Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) said on CNN’s “State of the Union.”

“There's some attribute of his character that makes him seemingly incapable of introspection and a broad understanding of what the country really needs.”

chiff said he expected “the pressures of the job” were only going to make Trump’s mental stability “get worse” — and that the President needs “some more adults in the room” to help him focus.

After Trump’s erratic response to a deadly hate group rally in Charlottesville, Va. — in which he repeatedly backtracked on his comments and refused to explicitly condemn the far-right marchers — members of Congress on both sides of the aisle questioned if he’s stable enough to remain in the Oval Office.

Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) said Trump “has not yet been able to demonstrate the stability nor some of the competence” for a successful presidency. Rep. Jackie Speier (D-Calif.) said Trump had been “showing signs of erratic behavior and mental instability that place the country in grave danger,” and she called for him to be removed through the 25th Amendment, which says a President can be dismissed if he “is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office.”

Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-Calif.) even introduced a bill Friday that would require Trump to undergo a psychiatric exam to see if he “suffers from mental disorder.” But she acknowledged that the bill is unlikely to gain traction.

I see the Republican governor of Maryland has removed the Judge Taney statue from the state house grounds.

Judge Taney infamously delivered a supreme court decision that African Americans could never be citizens of the USA.

The Democratic mayor of Baltimore has removed four confederate memorials. The vast majority of these things were installed as symbols of southern state resistance to racial equality.

CNBC: Secret Service out of money to pay agents because of Trump's frequent travel, large family

WASHINGTON — The Secret Service can no longer afford to pay hundreds of agents it needs to carry out an expanded protective mission – in large part due to the sheer size of President Trump's family and efforts necessary to secure their multiple residences up and down the East Coast.

Secret Service Director Randolph "Tex'' Alles, in an interview with USA TODAY, said more than 1,000 agents have already hit the federally mandated caps for salary and overtime allowances that were meant to last the entire year.

The agency has faced a crushing workload since the height of the contentious election season, and it has not relented in the first seven months of the administration. Agents must protect Trump – who has traveled almost every weekend to his properties in Florida, New Jersey and Virginia – and his adult children whose business trips and vacations have taken them across the country and overseas.

The Moron decided that it was smart to look at the sun eclipse without protection.

That's ok, he doesn't believe in science and he's the President so he can do whatever he wants, no meddling scientist will tell him what to do.

just watched his address regarding South Asia Afghanistan and Pakistan. Sounded like a declaration of war and giving the joint Chiefs of Staff a free hand and all they need.

Well, of course; otherwise that extra $54 billion he gave to the military would've been a waste of money!

Not only that, but he's under siege at the moment. And the last time he waged war, pundits from all ends of the political spectrum declared how he was finally being "Presidential".
