One or two more tweets like this - and Trump's presidency becomes untenable.
Trump fires back...
Senator Bob Corker "begged" me to endorse him for re-election in Tennessee. I said "NO" and he dropped out (said he could not win without...

No - Trump tweeted that first - Bob Corker fired back.
Now Trump's blaming Corker for the "horrendous" Iran deal.
Obama must be relieved - I thought it was all his fault /s

My apologies.

The Gallup Daily poll has it at 38%.
Not even Fox News polls and Rasmussen Reports show Trump with a positive approval rating - and they're about as unreliable and conservative biased as any of the recognised pollsters.

With these it varies greatly by who owns the survey. It is very hard to get a definitive figure in the US. The averages I have seen indicate that Trump will on current trends win in 2020 but that does not mean he will. Some political commentators believe he will and some believe he wont, only the the true poll can answer that.
edit; I have just read my error I should have put 40% not 50%, my apologies. That is why some are saying he can win due to the weird electoral system in the US. Anything 40%+ can mean victory or loss

Which poll? Fox News?
Poll Shows Trump Dipping to 32 Percent Approval
An Associated Press–NORC Center for Public Affairs Research poll released on Friday found that President Trump has a 32 percent approval rating, with 67 percent of respondents disapproving of the job he’s doing as president. And it reported that only 67 percent of Republicans approve of his performance, down significantly from 80 percent in the same poll in March.

The Democrats don't have a likely / obvious candidate, so there's no logic to any POTUS 2020 survey.

That makes it consistent, there is no logic to this POTUS

Imagine his reaction if somebody like Michelle Obama knocked him off his perch. Twitter would be in meltdown!

I think the GOP would meltdown. I am not sure if she has the skillset that has yet to be shown, she certainly has a charisma and personality that appeals. I also believe she is a talented and intelligent person but she maybe wise enough not to do the job.

I think his approval rating is down low 30s nationwide. However thanks to the electoral college and the fact the most republicans will vote for anyone with an R next tot their name this doesn't matter. He just needs to maintain support in the states he won. Not care about anything else. It seems he will probably do that at this stage.

It's a lottery really, the US took the FPP system and turned it into a dogs breakfast and they now have a ridiculously complex system. I think Trump and his advisors knew he could not win on popular vote but knew he could under the Electoral College and they worked out a strategy for that.

+1 This is a must-read.
Trump has created an increasing number of powerful enemies within his own party.
