Ha - that's classic.  The folks in Koreatown knew what was going on straight away.

I wish that the US media would stop being a mouthpiece for US propaganda. For example the BS attributed to the CIA about Kim suggesting that he'd allow a Maccas in Pyongyang in negotiations.  Always portraying Kim as an evil idiot like some cartoon bad guy.  Evil he probably is, but idiot - I doubt.  Perception probably not helped by his appearance - but he deliberately cultures that look - including haircut -  to look like his (deified) grandfather Kim Il-Sung:

President Donald Trump's lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, said Sunday that the President should not testify before special counsel Robert Mueller because "our recollection keeps changing."

throbb: President Donald Trump's lawyer, Rudy Giuliani, said Sunday that the President should not testify before special counsel Robert Mueller because "our recollection keeps changing."

Rudy is the idiot Trump deserves.

He's now backtracked from the utterly absurd claim that Trump could and should be able to pardon himself.

For all the efforts trying to argue that Trump is innocent, between the two of them they're doing a damned fine job of convincing that he's a guilty man looking for any way out.

OTOH, my post above referring to how North Korean leaders have been deified isn't unique to NK.

I find that image to be profoundly depressing. If this is really indicative of Trump supporters we might as well just give up and march off to the gulag. It won't make a damned bit of difference how corrupt and evil and stupid and blasphemous Trump's defenders are, never mind the man himself.

I expect Harley Davidson will soon announce a golf cart factory will be set up in the state of Wisconsin, or the state which polling shows to be at most risk in the mid terms.  The new golf cart will be electric powered & be for sale in the USA only.  Colors will be similar to those used for the motorcycle range. Each cart will be emblazoned with the words 'Keep America Great'. All purchasers of the golf cart will go into a monthly lucky draw to play a round of golf with the President.

It'd have to be a foursome - lyin' Don would need lyin' Cohen and lyin' Guiliani to help each other fill out their scorecards.

CNN - Trump's above-the-law presidency

Donald Trump's vision of an unrestrained and all-powerful presidency shines through in a staggeringly audacious defense of his actions related to the Russia probe that his legal team sent to special counsel Robert Mueller.

The assertions made by Trump's former lawyer John Dowd and Jay Sekulow, who remains on his team, in a just-revealed letter to Mueller spell out an expansive definition of presidential authority to explain why Trump should face no legal liability for his actions - including the firing of FBI Director James Comey.

The letter, which a source told CNN Trump reviewed and approved before it was sent in January, includes the caveat, "Of course, the President of the United States is not above the law," but then makes an argument that implies that he is, in fact, exactly that.

Confirmed meeting with KJU 12 June, Singapore

We should predict what he asks for, what he offers, what he says/does when KJU doesnt hand over his nukes.

I feel he will want full denuclearisation and offer to help economically, but not give them money, and set up a long slow reduction in sanctions. KJU will offer a 100% denuclearisation when US removes itself from SK, and when all sanctions lifted

POTUS will get angry, NK will say its a fair deal but the US wants a military solution not a diplomatic one. NK schedules talks with SK, China, Japan and asks to meet with UN

The US approach to this summit is going to be formulated with a primary objective of improving the GOP chances of retaining as many seats as possible in the upcoming mid-term elections - not even a remote chance it'll be about doing the right thing - for the future of the NK people, the SK people, or the rest of the world.  It's about convincing as many possible of the ~60% of the US public who think the POTUS is an idiot, that perhaps he's "getting things done".

The summit will either completely fail and be blamed on NK, or Trump will offer "possible" future concessions to KJU that he has no intention to carry through with, buying time and to create the impression that the great negotiator is making great progress, with future talks to be concluded after the mid terms.

IMO the first is likely to annoy China and Russia, they'll decide to ease sanctions against NK claiming that KJU was playing fair by whatever concessions he will offer.  China wants the trade, doesn't want a US force remaining in SK.  Russia want an oil/gas pipeline, to supply both NK and SK.  I assume that the WH know this - so IMO the second possibility is more likely - dragging it out as long as possible with ongoing false claims of "great progress" and keeping King Donald the Great Deal Maker on the front page for this issue as long as possible.

You may well be right about these scenarios however the ego of Trump should not be underestimated. He'd love to come up with a deal that no other president has managed to do. For him that would be better than scoring two eagles in a round of golf.

On another note, what happened to his wife? She just... disappeared?

Didnt she have an operation, and he tweeted he visited her and called her Melanie? I guess she is ok, not newsworthy yet, and games of golf to be played
