Yeah there is nothing wrong with CNN, except it tries to hold the Trump criminals to account and they don't like it. Only conspiracy nuts (1/4 of America) and Fox fanboys (and girls) think CNN is a plot.

Donald Trump on Kin Jon Un: "He’s the head of a country, and I mean he’s the strong head. Don’t let anyone think anything different. He speaks and his people sit up at attention. I want my people to do the same."

Or was it just nothing more than stupid click-bait / sarcasm to get a bite from a MSM that is more than a little bit fragile? This has been the funniest CNN news story since it happened at 12.30 this morning (NZ time). It was taken out of context 100% and shows just how desperate the Clinton News Network are to try and grab a cheap point. The MSM need to show both interviews, unadulterated.

This was Fake News in the extreme - which just continues to feed the idiot President's base. And I suspect it also took the focus away from other damaging things going on over the last 24 hours.

Read hat you wrote again. It makes no sense - you defend Trump and then attack him on the same reply.

Trump said it, there's no fake news. The President of the United States shouldn't be throwing "click-bait" around. CNN is not "Clinton News Network" - this is what Trump supporters call it.

CNN reported what the President said. There's nothing fake here. There is no "out of context" here.

To show this was not fake news - he said that live, on Fox News. Here is the snippet. He talks highly of a dictator and says he wants to have the same:

As for CNN or any other media, I watch it/them. I take on what they say, what they show, and what they discuss. I know everyone has bias. I filter that out. When I see things being said, happening, thats factual. I watched a lot of the Singapore summit. I say Singapore Summit and not the Trump Kim Jong Un summit. What I heard is what was said. CNN often had commentators debating, and these were pro Trump and anti Trump. They all had a fair go.

Does CNN have an anti Trump bias? Yes. Does Fox have a pro Trump bias? YEEEEEEEESSSSSSS   Big difference. If Fix could sprinkle some truth here and there that would help.

There are threads here on NZ politics. National vs Labour. The left vs the right, on and on it goes. But the Trump thing is off the scale. Way off. Its like comparing water to molasses. I dont see Labour p!issing off the unions, or National p!ssing off businesses. Let alone our international friends. That just another week in the life of Trump. I dont often see National or Labour people being taken to court for abuse of charities.

I know "ponytail-gate" rocked the world :-), that is about as bad as it gets it here. Or anywhere normal.

Donald Trump, again using the "I didn't know this guy, never heard of him" tactics:

Manafort has nothing to do with our campaign. … I feel a little badly about it. They went back 12 years to get things that he did 12 years ago?

“You know, Paul Manafort worked for me for a very short period of time. He worked for Ronald Reagan. He worked for Bob Dole. He worked for John McCain, or his firm did. He worked for many other Republicans. He worked for me, what, for 49 days or something? A very short period of time.”

At least one news network has claimed that Manafort worked for Trump for around 5 months - not 49 days.

Yes, Chris Cuomo, CNN, 149 days I think he said. That was in a videoclip of falsehoods, just one of a few

I thought Geekzone was way above this nonsense. The above clip represents the worst of how the MSM will contort Fake News.

Look up the clip where the idiot Trump was baited with "Mr President, did you really mean what you said earlier"? And he replied  “I’m kidding. You obviously don’t understand sarcasm. He then went on to ask the reporter who she worked for. And she replied CNN.

Duh ......…. Look it up.

I can't do all the work for you ……. but it is documented by the minute.

You guys really need to look at the facts. I dislike Trump as much as the rest of you. But I can see how he is making many Internet "empowered" Libs look like fools - and we are handing him increased approval points day by day.

Time for all of us to wake up.

I've seen the second clip. Sarcasm? That wasn't sarcasm. There was no sarcasm in the voice tone. He said that on national TV, on an impromptu press session. If you are trying sarcasm, you do it and joke immediately after, not later.

Time to stop trolling.

Sarcasm, Freudian slip, whatever...

Trump's history of at best "forgiving" and sometimes praising murderous dictators and strongmen makes any retrospective claim of that being "sarcasm" pretty suspect.

What that debacle does demonstrate though is why Trump's henchmen will do anything possible to prevent him from testifying under oath in the Mueller inquiry.  He's screwed if he pleads the 5th, and he's screwed if he opens his mouth.

CNN - Why Donald Trump's wild week matters. A lot.

He tore at the fabric of the Western alliance, challenged American values at home and abroad, praised autocrats and adopted their rhetoric and positions. He blamed Democrats for his own policy of separating kids from undocumented migrant parents and set off a trade war with China. After meeting North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in an epochal encounter in Singapore, he shocked the world by saying the murderous dictator loved his people. And back home, another round of primaries and clashes with the cowed congressional GOP only served to cement his power over his party.

Yet while the President plunged into a staggering range of issues and controversies, there was a method to it all.

More than ever before, Trump imposed his personality and political will on Washington and the world.

He went further than ever in crafting an alternative reality around his White House that may be misleading but has enthralled millions of people. ...

All politicians paint a version of reality that can inspire and motivate their followers. But few have gone as far as Trump in creating a different dimension that blurs established fact, defies accountability and knocks the rest of politics off its axis.

Forget the media for a moment. Lets focus on Trump. Everything he does and says it BS. He treats everyone with disdain, starting with his own party, ending with his own major trade partners and allies, and everyone on between. There are aa lot of lies. Take the issue with 2000 kids in 2 weeks separated from parents due to Democrats, thats false, he changed the rules. That will be forgotten as there are so many lies and bad actions from him. The only thing he hasn't done badly is the Singapore Summit, which as we all know is actually the North Korea, South Korea, China Peace Summit, the US is just in the way.

Yep. Yesterday I read a very recent poll and he has lost support in every state. Also, the effect on the Summit was positive but very minimal. His mantra is very much like the campaign. Its like bad advertising, you dont like it bit you hear it a lot. He is extremely noticeable. His supported will love that, but the other 75% of normal people, 2/3 of whom did not vote, will vote. Not that all are Demo supports, but more will be given the last 18 months. The trade war will be what hurts hm the most as it will affect his key states.

Sanctions need to be imposed on the US until they stop the separation of children from their families.
