I just checked the DD clock website and it seems that: -

- It was set to 11:57pm some time in 2015.

- The most recent decision not to change the clock was made in January 2016.

So it has sweet FA to do with Trump.

Also worth pointing out that just because this 'clock' is moved or not moved does not indicate actual events will or won't happen..!

He isnt in power yet..so why should it move before then.

US President-elect Donald Trump has released a video laying out actions he'll take on his first day in office on January 20, including withdrawing the US from the Trans-Pacific Partnership trade deal.

Trump also says he'll issue a rule cutting government regulations, direct the Labour Department to investigate abuses of visa programs, and cancel some restrictions on energy production, including shale oil and gas and coal.

A piece of paper that changed history... Donald Trump's grandfather banished from Germany.

Otherwise, he might be the Chancellor of Germany.

Condemning the Alt-Right spurts is not in the agenda then, not even before or after?

I am assuming you are pretty much joking? There is nothing from him in the last 2 years to show he intends to do that. :)

Sarcasm was intended. Just to show that if he doesn't say it's wrong, he might as well be supporting it. Inaction is not the same as not doing something.

And CNN broadcasts a program with this ticker: "Alt-right founder questions if jews are people".

If this is not fucked up, there isn't anything else.

Are you taking greater issue with the Alt-right founder's assertions, or the fact it was put on the ticker?

Pretty sure they have freedom of speech to say what they like, don't they?

Right, and so in case it's not clear I do not agree with Alt-Rights assertions, but the fact that CNN put it on it's ticker as news, seems ok to me, it's about the only way I'd know he had said such a thing. I don't think CNN are agreeing with him or anything? Am I missing something?

The fact this is going mainstream means there's a substantial number of idiots around sponsoring this kind of thoughts.

Ah ok, so you are taking exception to the fact it was said by this half-wit, and that you came to know he said it via the ticker on the CNN program? If that's the case I entirely agree with you.

In the USA the courts have thus far protected the right to all forms of free speech except where they promote imminent violence.
