Hi all,

Im interested to know who and why in a brief paragraph will be the next President.

Personally i have not done much research into the matter, But from my view point i see them both as equally evil as each other. Trump probably less of a threat, Just a loud mouthed idiot with money who will probably be a puppet. My money is on Trump, If he doesnt win there would be quite a bit of civil unrest.

We will find out soon who, So lets see if we can "Predict it"

(Im aware of the trump discussion thread, So place your bets here)

Cheers

Hillary with 60% of the vote.

I am really hoping the ration of stupid hasn't turned too much to allow Donald to so blatantly push his racist and bigoted views and still get in.

Without invoking Godwin's law this happened a long time ago and the world needs to remember that.

The unfortunate thing is that his views ring true with a large proportion of America.
The population that support him are the people who are committed and passionate about their support. Like football fans you could say... Hillary doesnt have that support to the level Donald does. Donalds voters will all be out in force today and getting their vote in. Not saying Hillary's wont but Donald gets everyone exited.

*can't stop grinning*

(It's a terrible thing, he's a terrible thing. But I do love to see the smug smiles wiped from all the people who have been mocking him and his campaign as if losing was always a sure thing.  Humans are by nature pretty sheety.  This is just a horrible reminder of that fact.)

Regarding Godwin's Law. I have strong reasons to not allow Godwin's on Geekzone and I stick to those reasons. Earlier on I have even removed a couple of posts from this thread based on FUG.

However, after looking at this thread and at the person involved, the whole situation and the current events, I deem appropriate in this instance only, to draw comparison with the rise (and fall) of the Nazi regime in Germany.

Please keep civil.

Rikkitic:

Can anyone explain to me the economics of Trump's five trillion dollar infrastructure project? How is he going to pay for it? Do they just print more money and make the dollar even more devalued? Do they borrow it from China while blocking imports from that country and slapping tariffs on everything? Where does that money come from when America is already carrying 20 trillion dollars of debt? Or doesn't that  mean anything any more? Is it just numbers and monopoly money?

$20,000,000,000,000

Shrug, what's a few more zeros gonna matter when you haven't a hope in hell of ever paying it back?

I might have to nominate this thread for " Most Pointless Thread On Geekzone, Ever."

Trump WILL be president. Our opinions have as much relevance as those of my dogs and nothing short of his death will change him being POTUS between now and his inauguration.

Clearly a lot of people are of differing views but, at page 110, we're just running round in circles between the "Yay Trump is POTUS" gang and the "No way should Trump be POTUS" gang.
