IMO Kim has already pulled the trigger.

No he hasn't.

So we should all just wait and see if he does?

He does not need to "pull the trigger" to get what he wants. If we allow him to do so, he will soon be in a position where he gets to call all the shots, without even pulling the trigger.

Do we want to allow him to be in this sort of position where he can hold the pacific hostage? You will be amazed at what you can gain/achieve if you have nuclear warheads pointing at your neighbors.

So based on your pontifications the other nuclear Nations should also dispose of the nuclear arms, an idea I fully agree with.

It's been a very effective deterrent to attack and invasion - which is something that North Korea has been paranoid about for well over 1/2 century.

Problem solved (for them). What they've done is 100% rational - from their POV.

interestingly these Nations also treated their people like crap and one still is, those Nations that come to mind are France, United States and Great Britain.

Oh dear.

So which one is it?

That is not hard to work out if you follow world events.

So America treats its people like crap? Oh dear. Maybe you should look at how Kim treats his people. Can't believe I am actually having this discussion with you.

I did not say that Kim does not treat his people badly, I am saying the Trump is also guilty of this.

I can't believe that in every thread you participate in degenerates to arguing against the infantile simplistic world view seen on Breitbart  and 4 Chan.

I wish you'd stop trolling - it's pathetic.

Dito on that. I was thinking the same thing about some of you, your posts are no different to the huffpost, or New York Slate.

Just because our views are different it does not mean its trolling. Live with it, people have different opinions about everything. Thats life, and no need to turn this into something that its not.

Correct its a Unitary one party state with a totalitarian dictatorship. A communist state is one which is lead by the people and the state is invisible, this is not the case in NK. The Kim dynasty is the absolute ruler of the nation and the people are totally subservient

Our views are mainly different in that you appear convinced that a military solution which will almost certainly result in the deaths of vast numbers of innocent people - is justified under the circumstances, but you clearly don't understand the circumstances - nor show any inclination whatsoever to try to understand.

There is state control in all aspects of life for North Koreans. How is that not communism?

You don't understand what communism is, to repeat, A communist state is one which is lead by the people and the state is invisible, this is not the case in NK. The Kim dynasty is the absolute ruler of the nation and the people are totally subservient

And it's very poorly understood how it operates, from a command POV.

KJU may be supreme leader and chairman, but very little is known about him.

And the part that you are missing and failing to understand is that doing nothing will have dire consequences.

Clearly you do not realize that diplomacy has failed.

Try to come up with some suggestions then. But if you going to keep on with the "do nothing" approach, then I will keep reminding you that its a terrible idea.
