A guman has opened fire from the 32nd floor of the Maldalay Bay Hotel overlooking a Music Festival.


The Confirmed Death toll is 50, with 200 Injured, but expecting death toll to rise significantly. 


Shooter identified as Stephen Paddock who was shot dead at the MB Hotel.

Another unspeakable act of absolute evil. 


My heart and thoughts go out to those affected either directly or indirectly. 


 


I've just watched some of the footage from the concert. I am lost for words. It's a horror I'll never be able to forget.

Wow, the reports I heard that it was only 2 dead. It is just terrible that these things keep happening. I just watched the video, that is just an awful situation for those people to be in. Guessing that is going to put a lot of people off going to such concerts.

I think it is time for guns need to be banned, except in specially controlled situations, such as farming etc. It is only a matter of time before something major happens in NZ again, and there are far too many gun related incidents, which must cost the economy heaps, not to mention human costs . I mean we have far more controls these days for drones and model helicopters, when they probably haven't killed anyone.

I saw his tweet about 10 minutes ago about it, he didn't say too much. I wonder what the final number is, because they have only said 'more than 50'. Shooting in a crowd like that could produce a huge number fatalities.
