Whenuapai is West Auckland, find somewhere else for your airport.

Chorus has spent $1.4 billion on making their xDSL broadband network faster and even more now as they are upgrading their rural Conklins. If your still stuck on ADSL or VDSL, why not spend $195 on a master filter install to make sure you are getting the most out of your connection?
I install - Naked DSL, DSL Master Splitters, VoIP, data cabling and general computer support for home and small business.

Cel-Fi supply and installer - boost your mobile phone coverage legally
Rural Broadband RBI installer for Ultimate Broadband and Full Flavour

It's all irrelevant as nothing North of Paraparaumu or over the hill in the wild east in Greytown matters as they cannot make good coffee a prime prerequisite for statehood.

Ooh, that's a big call. I know some very highly coffee places in Auckland. I'd like to know what you consider "makes" a great coffee?

I am not sure this thread should be filled under politics, maybe health would be more appropriate. 😛

Why would anyone vote for someone with such an idiotic idea?
Along the same lines as this genius (ACT, lol):

They already have an airfield at Dairy Flat. Bit hard to shoehorn a jet airliner in there though!

The customs charges will be horrendous for people who cross the Harbour or Greenhithe bridges to;

Go to work
Go to the airport
Go skiing
Go to their bach in the Coromandel. But they would be foreign owners, so probably would be forced to sell.

I gave her my electorate vote last election. It was worth it for entertainment value alone.

Before anyone demands that I be sentenced to dialup internet access for the rest of my life. I live in an extremely safe National electorate. So my 1 vote is unlikely to cause an upset.

I thought the most amusing part was her referring to Auckland as the heart of NZ.

Someone had the idea prior to this! But instead of the shore it was just my little hometown of Devonport.
