You lot are being hysterical. <- that's a misogynist comment.
Handle9:
If you're going to make that sort of assertion be fair about it. National is bought and paid for by business interests and the CCP. Labour is beholden to the unions. All political parties have to keep their stakeholders happy.
Attribution for the bolded part of your statement please?
You are inferring that a foreign government is interfering in NZ politics.

Especially if you know the etymology of the word.

Absolutely I am making that assertion, and on both sides of the house. There are two outgoing MPs with highly questionable backgrounds and positions.
One example:

So an inquiry that hasn’t reported back yet?
I am not surprised that there is likely to be ‘influence’, but I very much doubt it is limited to one side of the house and that is why I questioned that you attributed it to one political party. The tentacles of the CCP are likely to stretch down into local bodies and things like tertiary institutions. And not just here. Places like Australia, Canada and large chunks of the EU are under the same pressure.
NZ is in the unfortunate position of being so small we can’t afford to upset the ‘Wolf Warrior’ so all parties will appear to be China friendly.

Rikkitic:MikeAqua:Are you saying anyone who find's Ardern not to be attractive is a misogynist?
I'm saying anyone who cares enough about this to mention it is.
I aim to misbehave.
DS9:
This is classic 'wokeness', taking offence on somebody else's behalf (incorrectly, I might add) and shouting down others until they give in.
I do not find her attractive or competent either, but my wife is gorgeous, smart and competent, I'm sure others would have a different opinion (they'd be wrong...) and that's perfectly okay.
*edit*
Gee, another caveman. Welcome to the 21st century. Don't be afraid. Those enlightened values won't hurt you.

Handle9: It's easier with Collins. She only lies when her lips are moving.
And don't forget, she arches her eyebrow when she's joking. There's that too.
Given this thread has become a hive of name calling I won’t be participating in it again. BS tires me.

The name calling is fairly pathetic.

I totally agree, it seems to come from our 'enlightened' members (so called tolerant liberals), which doesn't surprise me as they do not believe themselves to be fallible in the least.
So ummm.... moving on to something vaguely election/politics related:
It's dawned one we won't see Labour and The Greens leaders on the same TVNZ debate stage at any point, which is interesting. But even more so because apparently Labour still loves the idea of a hugely expensive metro system for Auckland and the Greens want the infinitely more-affordable street-level Light Rail system like the Gold Coast system, which could probably go all over Auckland for the same price as the metro proposal to the airport.
I would actually have been really keen to see the Greens put Labour on the spot on this one, given it's a massive difference in their policy preference and the Greens realistically need to be taking votes from Labour to get over 5%. But I'm not sure we'll get the chance to see it happen.
