I can understand why many would want to come; we are watching an empire in its final days.

They're like fat rats jumping off a sinking ship. ..After eating the holes in the ship in the first place.

However, in all honesty I am more concerned about other loopholes in our immigration laws vs pay-2-emigrate kind.

I mean things like students visa scam, people pay megadollars to be get a student visa and the education facilities play the system like a puppet master.

For various reasons the rest of the world is a slow motion car crash. We should pull up the drawbridge.

If you are sufficiently obsequious, they might even give you a minimum wage job waiting on them and serving their every whim.

Na, with by business I'd be looking after all their exotic cars and going on very long road tests.

If you're young enough - you could sell your blood to Theil.

If people like Thiel are going to live forever, I sure don't want them living here.

Theil thinks your right to express a political opinion or to vote has been damaging to "capitalist democracy":

Thiel:

Since 1920, the vast increase in welfare beneficiaries and the extension of the franchise to women — two constituencies that are notoriously tough for libertarians — have rendered the notion of “capitalist democracy” into an oxymoron.

This is a great example of why "libertarianism" is a cult.  It leads you down rabbit holes and pointless mind-games constructed to defend the indefensible.

I read an interesting science fiction story about this once. Immortality treatments become possible, but only for the very rich. A guerrilla group of the dispossessed forms an assassination squad that targets the newly immortalised. Whenever one emerges from a treatment centre, he gets blown away. Moral: Even immunity from ageing and disease doesn't give you any guarantees.

If you plan it right you'd have uploaded your consciousness to the cloud, download to a replacement body cloned in a human hatchery, and reboot.

If it was going to be a nasty painful death, just get them to exclude the most recent incremental update files.

What about wealthy Australians, Europeans, Asians, Africans, Britains and Pacifica or is the xenophobia only restricted to Americans?
