A presidential decree on how often you must / should flush the toilet. And whoever doesn't stick to it is a future terrorist ... ridiculous, but quite possible. Watch out what happens everywhere in the world!

The water waste debate is not a new issue.

From the Victorian era: "Crapper's improved registered ornamental flush-down WC with new design cast-iron syphon water waste preventer"

Isn't that referring to his improvements to the siphon and float valve to prevent leakage, so it wasn't so much reducing the size of each flush but making sure there wasn't water running through when it wasn't flushing?

The Washington Post - Biden signs executive order promoting voting rights ...

today

President Biden on Sunday signed an executive order aimed at promoting voting rights amid a push by Republican-led state legislatures to roll back voting access in the wake of former president Donald Trump’s 2020 loss and his baseless effort to cast doubt on the integrity of U.S. elections. ...

The order directs federal agencies to develop a strategic plan for promoting voter registration and participation, including potentially applying to be a state-designated voter registration agency and providing recommendations on leave for federal employees to vote or to serve as poll workers. ...

Biden’s move comes days after the House passed expansive legislation to create uniform national voting standards, overhaul campaign finance laws and outlaw partisan redistricting.

The measure, H.R. 1, largely mirrors a bill passed by the chamber two years ago. But it has faced fierce Republican attacks that threaten to stop it cold in the Senate.

The bill’s voting provisions would guarantee no-excuse mail voting and at least 15 days of early voting for federal elections; require states to use their government records to automatically register citizens to vote; restore voting rights to felons who have completed their sentences; and mandate the use of paper ballots. ...

Dozens of Republican-controlled state legislatures, meanwhile, are considering sweeping new laws that would restrict voting options ahead of the 2022 midterms.

Some of the measures would restrict absentee balloting, while others would limit early voting and other aspects of election administration. ...

Not sure if true but apparently he's never done a press conference or given a live interview yet.

There could be many reasons why but it's interesting

Prior to Obama, presidential press conferences were infrequent. That was not a good thing.

? Biden gave a live town hall in Milwaukee which was an interview format.

Although frequent press conferences carried out by competent non-lying staffers are important, frequent presidential appearances at press conferences are terrible & cheapen the Office.

Breaking news from post-Trump America ...

The Washington Post - Biden’s name will not appear on coronavirus relief checks, White House says

today

The White House said Tuesday that Biden’s name would not appear on the $1,400 stimulus payments set to be sent out to millions of American families as part of the administration’s relief package, a reversal from the precedent set under President Donald Trump.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters on Tuesday that the payments approved under Biden would instead by signed by a career official at the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, an office within the Treasury Department.

The House is expected to vote on the $1.9 trillion stimulus plan as soon as Wednesday, putting it on course to be signed into law by Biden next week.

The decision marks a reversal from the Trump administration.

Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin included Trump’s signature on the memo line of the payments approved in March last year, as well as a gushing letter signed by Trump taking credit for the benefit.

So that's what happens when someone who isn't a narcissist helps other people.

I read that letter from last year, and holy crap talk about self-serving, congratulatory pat-on-the-back bs propoganda. Gave me great pleasure to burn it.

Thanks for that, all I remember was "blah blah blah, I'm the best, America has no issues at all, I'm doing a fantastic job, look at me, we're the envy of the world fighting coronavirus, but have some money to give back to us anyway. PS I am the greatest president that ever existed." In other words, all drivel :D

Correct grammar and spelling, coherent sentences, there's no way Trump wrote any of that.
