Hungary, inside NATO and EU, it can benefit from protection while being Russia's friend to the detriment of EU and NATO.
Putin's propagandists have teased a new Hungarian Empire when Russia gets its old Eastern Block back again.
Russia has used KN-23 ballistic missiles from North Korea against Ukraine, but about half lost their programmed trajectory and exploded in the air. Maybe because the rudder bearings are from Toyota cars, instead of bearings designed for high temperatures and tremendous strain.
Source is Twitter so who knows if it's true or not, but it's pretty funny.
Toyota bearings ?
Probably just the reject plain bearings that go in the horrible FAN Heaters we get each winter.
Is there one of these heaters that does not rattle from new.
Still useful as random destruction, terror and decoys.
Getting your jollies and feelings of superiority from
Buzz Bombs that headed for London a similar theme, from a similar leader.
Saving Russia's Iskandars for high priority targets of Hospitals, Shopping Centers and Districts, Power Infrastructure.
One report talking of the few that had to stay managing power plant control room so others could go to shelters knowing if they were the target for tonight.

Andrew Perpetua who reviews video destruction on both sides.
Reported seeing a lot of Russian video of FPVs just killing old people, families just trying to survive.
Anyone out of spite and very happy about it.
The thing is its clear its non combatants tending a vegetable patch etc.
Bearings, Ok I concede photos do show some balls, maybe best quality Toyota alike bearings AliExpress can supply.
Meantime.
Putin while Gerasimov is presenting their great victories in Kursk.
Maybe he needs a deep warm hug from Modi ?

That's real, but for a bit of 'parody' below is Darth Putin.
Adam Something just had a look at Russian propaganda books. Just when you thought things couldn't get more crazy than Comrade Hitler, you find out about Darth Stalin. And no, those aren't made up.
Edited to add: It appears Comrade Hitler is currently unavailable. Pity, that would have been cool to own a copy of just for the total craziness.
On the Adam Something YouTube about the books.
Looking back at old Soviet Pulp fiction might find this is a retread of similar themes.
The last one at end of video, maybe Rings of Power will go that way for a plot twist.
Sauron just a misunderstood anti imperialist.
On Glide bombs.
Ukraine Had A Chance To Blow Up Russia’s Best Warplanes On The Tarmac. The White House Said No—And Now It’s Too Late.
Ukraine is still hitting Russian airfields, but only with less destructive drones.

For months, Ukrainian officials have been begging their foreign allies for permission to use the best donated weaponry—in particular, powerful ballistic missiles—to hit Russian warplanes that have been parking out in the open at airfields inside Russia within quick flying time of Ukrainian cities.

Putin used to dine out on his 'cornered rat' story.
Irony?
He backs Ukraine into corner, even having a Ukrainian identity must be erased for him.
Vovchansk 'was' still largely recognizable as a town after Russia's caravan of misery and torture had been tossed out, the first time. Just random death from the sky every now and then.

With latest incursion, that could happen anywhere else along border.
Now seeing Vovchansk turned to complete rubble and moonscape in latest incursion, and the cost of fighting in that rubble ongoing.

On top of the conditions in the South/East.
This may have made a risky 'unthinkable' plan to fight in Russia instead, 'worth rolling the dice'.
A place with intact roads, tree-lines, forests and buildings.
Not an obstacle course of 3000Kg glide bomb shell holes and mines, where cover is a few shredded sticks breathing in clouds of brick-dust and asbestos.
If you have to fight somewhere?

As an experienced internet general, I reckon they went in to **** stuff up till the Russians pulled some of their forces back from the Ukrainian fronts in Donetsk and Luhansk to try to stop them, thus allowing the UAF at fronts to push forward and gain some ground they really want, and then withdraw from Kursk area to attack somewhere else. Do a continual hit & run into undefended areas to keep Russian troops moving away from Ukraine, continually chasing the UAF. Meantime they can pound the more thinly dispersed anti-air defenses etc, blow up any strategic infrastructure they get close to, etc.
They appear to have been more successful in taking ground than they probably bargained for and will be acutely aware that there won't be infinite tolerance for donated Western weapons to be used in an invasion of Russia. UK has already stated they still won't be allowed to use Storm Shadows to strike into Russia, for example.
One worrying point though is that the Russians set a fire at the Zaporizhia nuclear power plant - almost certainly a not-at-all-subtle warning to Ukraine to stay away from the Kursk nuclear power plant. At this point I wouldn't put it past Russia to blow the thing up just for spite if it looks like they're going to lose.

„German investigating authorities have now issued an international arrest warrant for a Ukrainian living in Poland in connection with the attack on the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline.“ In chaotic times one also have to take a closer look at „the friends.“

In anti-corruption reform you are going to have all those corrupt line up against you, all with passports.
If hiring for the operation or a diversion, what passport holders would one seek?
Lets see what else comes up.
It seemed a pointless action as imports were being stopped, and commissioning of Nord 2 also stopped.
Though...
Conveniently dangling a reason for Germany to reverse decision on Nord 2 ?
No doubt requiring an amount of money to complete.

Russia confirmed that Pipe B of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline escaped destruction, and offered to resume gas supply to Europe (which was promptly declined by Berlin).[8][9][10]

There is a public interest here and in the Scandinavian countries that we ‘want to know exactly’ what we are dealing with here. 😉 Perhaps they just want to see who might execute him first before arresting him? 🤣
