SJB: And we think Trump supporters are crazy.

Ben Gvir is preferred successor to Netanyahu among backers of PM’s current bloc -- poll | The Times of Israel

It's a little bit misleading in the sense that bloc includes Ben-Gvir's party and it's supporters and other extremists Netanyahu has gathered. Netanyahu is vastly unpopular even in his own Likud Party and that one will have a new leader more or less as soon as an election is announced. At that point parties personally hostile to Netanyahu are likely to join the block and displace Ben Gvir's party.

Neither side in this desperate situation has any humanity left whatsoever.

Hamas-run health ministry says 90 killed in Gaza strike targeting Mohammed Deif - BBC News

Authorized by Netanyahu himself the IDF fire 6 or 7 missiles into a crowded designated safe zone to try and kill 2 Hamas members. And they have no idea if they succeeded.

If the Republicans who have invited Netanyahu to speak in Washington had the slightest moral backbone they would cancel the invitation. As should Biden who is also slated to meet him.

Polio expected to break out in Gaza and cross to Israel. From there no one can know where it will go:

Tmes of Israel: With traces of the poliovirus found in sewage samples in the Gaza Strip last week, the IDF began a campaign to give polio vaccinations or boosters to all soldiers serving there. No human cases have been reported so far, but there is a concern that the poliovirus might spread throughout the region. “It will be almost impossible to stop the ecological movement of the virus,” Dr. Lior Nesher, director of the Infectious Disease Institute at Soroka Medical Hospital in Beersheba, told The Times of Israel. “The disease does not respect borders.”

In Israel like other countries vaccination has declined recently.

In Washington Netanyahu plays to a receptive Republican audience while back home it's business as usual with racists running the country.

It's a win-win for Netanyahu. Kill your enemy but keep the Gaza war going to avoid losing your job.

I think Iran has just declared war on Israel. Not entirely sure from what I'm seeing. Supreme Ayatollah is apparently calling for 'direct attack'.

The red flag has been raised - last time they did that, they sent a load of rockets and missiles over and into Israel

Although last time they sent few enough that they could be sure Israel would intercept them. They're not fools: they know if they really wanted to hit Israel they would need to launch a lot more than the ones they did.

Yep I think it is about to kick off in the middle east. Sold down some tech stocks and moved into the Ishares ITA ETF, alot of weapons are going be needed and some sweet war profits are to be made.

No, there is no declaration of war from Iran.

I'd guess there will be another exchange of fire similar to the escalation in April when Israel killed high ranked Iranian military personnel in Syria, and then Iran sent mostly slow missiles into Israel, and then Israel sent one near an alleged Iranian nuclear facility.

Very tense situation and there is always potential for miscalculation from both sides.

Sorry i have not watched, so what was the reason or justification of beheading babies/adults and raping women/corpses? Is the reason religious or politicosocial (eg vengeance etc)? Thanks
