Labour under him is a very centrish party, and it is refreshing to see such a political party get elected in the current global situation
Labour will be constrained as to what they can fix because there is no money to go around.

In which case they should fix their broken FPP electoral system, which should be relatively cheap. That will give them a better chance of a more representative government in the longer term, when there is some money.

They also have plenty of more important issues on the EU plate like dealing with a lurch to the right in some member countries.
