Its not always that, sometimes people are swapping plates around to take a car with no rego places to get work done on it etc.

Not this time, switching what appeared to be the legitimate plates with recent plates from a vehicle that had had new plates issued. I.e. stolen. Not even going to entertain the idea of giving them the benefit of the doubt.

Was reading a Stuff article (I know, I know...) and an autoplaying video decided to autoplay. I pressed the Pause button. Five seconds later it decided to start playing again. Tab has now been closed, and given that it's Stuff, I suspect that nothing of value was lost.

Half the music in the world. People who write 4 minutes of song and one minute of lyrics. When I taste tequila, when I taste tequila, when I taste tequila...

Isn't it the same 2 people who write most of the pop "music" these days and are solely responsible for the bland rubbish that is taking over the airwaves?
It was something I saw online, so factual content may vary.

That's not a new thing though.  Think Beegees in the late 70s / early 80s, Stock Aitken Waterman in the mid-late 80s.

Shops that decide for no apparent reason, at least to us who get to wander round looking for stuff thats moved 4 isles away. Yes I'm looking at you Countdown.

I see that there's a map by the entrance now :)

Interesting. I shall peruse at my leisure.

It really should be accompanied by a 4 page essay with diagrams and graphs explaining the reasons for such radical change though...

I would say that what annoys me with places like (looking at you warehouse) that is they have the location of stock in the store, they have a website and an app that can tell me stock levels. But the app cannot tell me where the hell things are in the store. So you have to go and ask at information who will tell you the aisle number but not the bay or shelf because that is something they have to look somewhere else for. FFS. With free clic and collect may as well make them do the hard work of finding it for me.

99% Humidity outside at present in Christchurch - No rain, and been like it several days!

Positive pressure here would make it damper inside than the 46% I have at present.

Hard to dry windows though!

The tons and tons of old clutter on the web that is no longer relevant to anything, but still pops up in searches and has no date information on it so you think you are reading something current when it hasn't had any value for years. Can't someone invent a vacuum cleaner for all this useless crap?

"X doesn't live here anymore; stop sending me his phone bills" seems to be Vodafonese for "continue incessantly sending his phone bills". Seriously; I've asked them to stop 3-4 times now...
