Vehicles turning right on the open road, where the driver signals right, but the proceeds to pull to the left with their right indicator still going. Read the road code people!!!

ajobbins: My wife leaves cupboard doors open all the time and it drives me nuts. She doesn't even realise she's doing it. Probably happens 5 times a day.

While we're whinging about family members:

* My wife (for some reason known only to her) will put the lid back on a jar but not do it up.

She does the lid thing too. The used to annoy me but I am used to it now. After a few spills where i've picked something up either by the lid and the rest has gone flying, or the lid has come off - I now know to check before I move anything with a lid she has been using. I can tell what she's been into because the cupboard it lives in will be open :)

GeoffisPure: When Cyanide and Happiness post only the first couple panels of their latest comic, forcing you to click through to their website to see the rest.

Mine would be when people post the image of the whole comic as a reply so that it reduces the click thru to the comic and don't think they are doing anything wrong.

Oh, which brings to mind another thing along those lines.... the new layout for KMart in Albany with the checkouts in the middle, what muppet thought that was a good idea - now you get bag checked every time you want to leave because youve had to walk through half the store with your purchased items. And then the checkouts fail all the time, poor staff are run off their feet trying to keep them going.

You must look really suspicious then. Never happens to me. If it does, just say "no thankyou, I don't need you to check it" and move along.

Oriphix: When I want to talk about something serious and the person in question replies with a joke / sarcasm. frown

Sarcasm is the answer to everything. I would have thought you could of known that.

Handsomedan: People that don't like kids.

They are small humans.

Were you never a kid?

I don't mind children but when I am trying to mind my own business and a child is being a little sh*t or screaming and the parent isn't doing a damn thing about it that is when I hate children.

That is when I hate parents.

People who don't take trolleys back at the supermarket, and just leave them in the car park to flail about uncontrollably.  Just as bad are those who will take the trolley to the trolley bay but jam it in front of an incompatible (e.g. smaller/larger) trolley, making it hard to get it out, or who add it to the already burgeoning supply of trolleys such that it sticks out into the carpark.  My blood starts to boil when they do this even though it's actually a shorter trip back to the supermarket entrance where the trolley can be immediately re-used.  It's unfathomable why they wouldn't take the shorter trip and make things more inconvenient (actually, I do know why - people don't think about what they are doing.)

Sticking with the supermarket theme, people who walk aimlessly down the middle of the aisle (along with the sub-species of the form, the aisle-wide group oblivious to people trying to get past, and those who congregate in the middle of the aisle for a chat and refuse to move).  Just as annoying are the people who are turning left/right but looking somewhere else and don't see you coming in the opposite direction.  Why can't people pay attention to what they are doing?

The Apple Support website (a specific bugbear) - tried to use it in December to try and solve a bluetooth issue with my iPhone (still unresolved).  The least helpful website I've ever used, with dead-ends and broken links.  Hard to escape the feeling that they are deliberately breaking their support services to push people into purchasing AppleCare warranties...  In a similar vein, the Countdown website for being broken for over a month while trying to get a replacement card issued, and then having to send multiple emails to get my problem acknowledged.  In more general terms, websites that break but are big enough to warrant more professional support.  I'd also include Microsoft in that group based on some recent experiences...

People who don't park in the middle-ish of their parking space.

People don't park within their parking box.

Wheelbarrow01: The term "could of" or "should of" etc...

As in "I could of finished high school, but I don't think I needed to".

When people confuse "could've" and "should've" with "could of" and should of", when the correct way is "could have" and "should have".

And when people don't appreciate it when I correct their grammar. I'm only trying to help!

Here's another one.

Polished wooden floors.

People say they have that, when its just crappy old wood that they have sanded and slapped some polyurathane on. No polishing involved.
