Buying so called "fresh" fruit from grocery stores to have it go off with in two days. Doesn't matter which chain the results are the same. Its a rip off. It should be clearly stated how long this stuff has been stored in a cooler.

Or what chemicals it's been sprayed with to bring it to ripeness the moment it goes on the shelf.

Or probably likely, having been stored in a controlled atmosphere (humidity, CO2/O2, ethylene scrubbed) and temperature storage, then ripening naturally.  They stuff this up regularly, as evidenced by some peaches I bought yesterday that are ripe, but dry and horrible - I should take them back, but supermarkets have it worked out that most people (including me) don't bother, the cost of chucking out poor quality produce is much higher than the cost of dealing with returns - and that really annoys me even when I know I'm partly to blame.  At least I can feed the peaches to our chooks.

Having to deal with vendors (IT).  They either have support staff that basically only call me after hours (certain US networking manufacturers with support in other countries) or arrange a time for a remote session but I can't get a hold of them.

People who come on here with rants and gripes and they haven't tried to address it with the provider that has (or may have) caused the issue.

Glad I'm not the only one!  I'd prefer people leaving 10 dishes next to the sink rather than 5 dishes in the sink.  How am I meant to use it if it's full of dishes?  If I needed to wash dishes I'd have to take all the dishes out first (I have a process and like to start with a cleaned sink).

Then you need double sinks.  OTOH people who fill one sink with dirty dishes for indefinite periods would probably think the whole point of double sinks is to double the dirty dish storage capacity of the kitchen.

I think the concept of different level of US taxes and laws is stupid and frustrating: federal, state and local.

It goes back to the US founding fathers compromising between states with radically different outlooks, like slave plantations in the south versus industrialized states up north versus then lightly populated western frontier states.

As any company who pays US taxes over more than one state will tell you, there's a huge industry just supporting all the different tax laws and regulations.

If each state wants to act like its own country, then by all means do it.

Should satisfy the south who want go be heavily armed, stop all abortions, only English spoken, and only Christians.

Also satisfy the Midwest who want pure capitalism, no business or pollution regulations.

That way the world can ignore many of the idiots pushing US world agendas.

The only saving grace to US state laws is the president can't pardon anyone found guilty of a state crime.

It also allows powerhouse California to dictate some environmental laws, like US car emission laws, for now.

If you do a search for anything on AliExpress and there are no matches, it just throws random stuff at you, up to and including the kitchen sink. Actually, it does this even when there are matches.

Windows 10 removing the old method to set a connection priority on different devices.  Now you must set a metric.

That and the number of hoops you must jump through to get to the list of network devices.

Sometimes the wifi or the cabled network my laptop is connected to doesn't have internet whereas the other does.  Windows used to hold on to a working connection, now when a non-working network is connected to that has priority I suddenly have no internet access and existing connections are dropped.

You're right. That is strange. It was so obscure that it was largely only used by those who knew how to use it.

So it is additionally annoying that Microsoft have deleted the technet blog post that explained why. The blog is linked to in this topic https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/adapter-and-binding-tab-missing-in-windows-10/e63b9a6b-1d09-4704-94c1-7e2228b036b3
