There's been a number of banking related posts this week (including one I myself started LOL) so it's not like it's off-theme or anything. Can't we try and be nice to the newcomer and not pre-judge?

[edit] Funnily enough, I just slammed a huge payment on my own c/c today and got Kiwibank to lower my limit too... but I did that over the phone to safely avoid the aforementioned issue. With all the wonders of the digital age it still irks me at times that banking systems are not able to be updated in real time like any other online transaction.
