I had another one in my Outlook Junk folder today, interestingly I sent it to myself

It came from my Orcon email address that has been my main email address since 2005, but have never received any form of spam on until these emails (my Clear Net email however is a spam ridden hole)

Andrew .... I'm registered on Sella, and the email came to me using the same address as I used on Sella (and elsewhere).

However, not exactly hard evidence unless you can show significant cluster pattern?

I don't think it's legit, certainly, the domain doesn't seem to be related to the company it purports to be from....

At least, if these are 419'ers, they'll be more convincing than me, so the only advice I can give anybody who believes they have been randomly chosen to represent a multimillion dollar brand without so much as a personal interview - don't sign anything. Don't give any personal information away until a contract is present and you've had a lawyer read it. Standard terms of employment involve the viewing of a contract PRIOR to any signing or personal information being given, so stick with that advice, if none other.

Also, don't send me that Word file, or any MS doc file you get via email from unsolicited parties, ever.

Don't touch it.

Usually the way it works is like this: they ask people to receive payments in their own accounts, and send part of this to their "offices" overseas, with the employee keeping the commission.

After a while you find out those monies were stolen from other people's account via bank fraud, password stolen via malware installed in their PCs or stolen cheques. And the employee receiving the money is the one answering to the police, because the people receiving the money overseas will simply disappear.

The other way is to forward fake PayPal receipts and seek reimbursement in the window between payment and clearance and sometimes, I've heard, become very threatening and insist the problem can be cleared with PayPal, later.
